There would have been grass there, certainly more than the Aloai try against us.
I like this excitement in offense as I've mentioned elsewhere I don't believe a club like ours will be allowed an even break if dour. Unjust yes but we've all seen whats going on so if we keep playing like this reckon we might start to get an even break soon as we could become very marketable for the establishment.
And all this with high completions on an old fashioned greasy surface.
Madge and Sheens must have had a plan to escalate after X number of weeks and they stuck with it despite disruption. This can only mean the whole squad has been training for this they way they gave adapted.
Lindeman also deserves much credit.
Hastings is indipensible though.

Its makes up for the joke of the no-try against Starford To'a. If Josh Jackson was tracking for the football, not in fact looking at To'a over high right shoulder and running in the opposite direction to the kick, then I'm a monkey's uncle's grandma.

I agree Hastings is a natural leader on the field. He has been so great for us and lived up to the Hype!
Don't make him Captain. It means more is in his head and more things to think about. Let him lead the pack around and let Doueihi or whomever else worry about press conferences and other blah that comes with Captain. As long as it's clear that Hastings is the organizing Half then we are fine.
If someone is challenging him, OR we risk loosing his contract, then make Hastings Captain.
