Sironens coach is not even convinced he will play first grade.

I thought Sheens has a high opinion of Curtis, I am sure the papers a few weeks ago were talking about moving Benji to full back so that Curtis can play #6\. That story would have come from some one in the club. For mine I would never move Benji from the halves but I am also sure the coaching staff at the Tigers are convinced Curtis will play NRL.

His u/20's coach I mean. Personally do you think he will be a 5/8 in latter years ??

If you want someone to come in and make a massive impact straight away the only 20's player that could be is Marika Koroibete. He'd become a cult hero in a week.

Agree 100%. This guy is ready now. Put either Ryan or Brown into the centres and unleash our second flying Fijian. Yes he will make some mistakes but this guy can play. If Benji puts him into space I doubt any NRL player will catch him.

I imagine Marika will be a direct replacement for Lote after 2012.

That's the way I see it, replace the big Fijian with another, quicker Fijian.

Depends on his growth, how his pace and agility are affected by that and also how much the position changes over the next handfull of seasons. He still has a NYC term left for the next few years

Agree 100%. I think he will only play in the halves if injuries to others force him to play there. For mine he will start at centre like a Brad Fitler and end up at lock/second row when he fills out. For mine he is a talent.

I don't personally see him as a NRL #6\. For mine as I have said in the past he will most likely start in the centres and end up in the backrow in the NRL. For mine I personally would rate him a better prospect than Simona and I am sure Curtis could handle centres very well.

Young Sirro will be a centre until Benji retires or he may need to become a No 7 . Either way I think he can handle either position

But if he can do the job why should it matter if he his 5 feet 3 and 70 kilos or 6 foot 4 and 100 plus kilos
If that is the big issue give Benji the 7 jersey Ink and put Sirro in the six

But thats my point Ink if he can do all the things of a normal half back (As you say Pace ,agility , nippiness ) as well as crush any second rower or prop that runs at him
Add to that he could create so much room for Benji with two people having to deal with him due to his size
Ink don't worry I understand what your saying but you have to look outside the square occasionally
I can remember a top athletics sprint coach telling me many years ago that a very tall sprinter will never become world class sprinter because they would lack co ordination ,muscle twitch skills, power through too big a frame etc

I am saying Ink that no one will know if he can do all those things you mentioned until he is tried at it Because he doesn't fit your size mold for a half back doesn't mean he can't be a half back
Have you a clue now ??
