With a GM in place as well, it would seem that we might finally be putting ourselves onto a solid foundation. And Smith as GM would be a good move in my opinion - with a solid CEO to keep him on track.
His job title (if hired) is General Manager of Football Operations. It entirely involves making decisions about the football side of things.
