There's absolutely no way Brown would give a stranger any info away. Even if it was all but a done deal. He'd look like an idiot if he got found out and then it fell through. I think it's fairly certain the club has at least made tentative plans should Sheens leave. There seems to be enough whispers around suggesting so. Unless he leaves for another club, i'm doubting he leaves the joint, purely because we've admitted we can't afford to pay him out.

Not complete strangers mate, we share a mutual friend. Hope it's true that he's coming. I think he'll turn us around.

I do not know much about this but if we were to make him assistant coach would we still have to pay him out?

I wasn't even aware that Nathan Brown was in Australia at this time as I thought he was still in the UK and was to take up the St Helens coaching job that has been in the hands of caretaker coaches since Royce Simmons got the arse!.

I can see us being stuck with Sheens for the remainder of his contract because of this payout problem. It's just too much to fork out. Biggest bloody mistake WT made was extending his contract earlier this year - if only we could have that fateful day back again! Now they are in a bind that they can't pay their way out of and we will be stuck with a stale coach, who is now in bad relations with the board because they wanted to punt him - does not bode well for 2013.

FORMER Dragons coach Nathan Brown and NSW Blues assistant coach Matt Parish have emerged as dark horses to replace embattled Tim Sheens at the Wests Tigers next year.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal their names were openly discussed among board members last week as doubts remain about Sheens' future.

Brown recently signed a contract with English giants St Helens and Parish, who is Geoff Toovey's assistant at Manly, had been tipped to join Ricky Stuart on Parramatta's coaching staff next year.

All this could change if the Tigers decide to make a move.

There is no way Stuart would hold Parish to his agreement at Parramatta if there was a first-grade job available.

**Brown is back in Sydney for a short holiday with his family but could not be contacted yesterday**

May have been more than a family holiday???

Can't believe anyone gives any creedence to garbage written in the media. What's even more astounding is that some of you on this very forum take as gospel what is written.

We are hopeful and until someone is signed to coach the Warriors there isn't any reason to knock it just yet. It is speculation as far as we know.

I don't think anyone believes it …but there seems to be continuing speculation around and not just from the media .I would think the media have no idea ..other sources are the interesting ones!

THE Warriors' chances of landing a **<big>''super coach''</big>** have dramatically increased….......................

Damn, thought this was about Shines

If Sheens goes to the NZ Warriors, how long before Benji follows him??

If Benji wants to continue with the same form from 2012 in 2013 …....

my answer would be it can't happen fast enough to be honest

I'm sorry that i fail to meet your lofty standards however someone on the forum had said they thought Brown was in England - i merely quoted some media to suggest otherwise - whether the report is fact or fiction i couldn't give a flying f%#@.
