Was it Momorovski's fault?

In the interview with matterson, he said that momo put his hand up at the video session and said that he should of kicked it, and matto says he knows he can/should kick those kind of goals, but he said that they are in support of him and looking forward to thursday

he said the short turnaround, affects the mind more than the body

Yeah but if we win it will be so good giving it to the Manly supporters.

**Instead of looking at the missed kick, look at the missed tackles and dumb plays that put us in that position - *again*!**

I honestly think with the 2 quick injuries to our key players...**.panic set in and there were desperation moves more often than not**..Benji and Brooks should have had a pow wow and set up a plan B ...instead they tried to desperately win after making some silly errors, not Brooks but Benji should have grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and used composure to settle the game, although he did start to win the game after the bird had flown...just my opinion...

That’s it! Once again, a sprinkling of adversity and we fall in a heap. Culture is rubbish. Anything goes against us and we cave. Always have. We were 8-0 up against a team that fights but offers little. When we lost our 2 players early there should have been a pact between the players saying, “no matter what, we win this game.”

Not Momo's Fault , we are just a generally DUMB team when the pressure is on, we will make the most stupid mistakes under pressure. Have cringed at many of the mistakes over the years but we never seem to learn from them. Is it culture, is it flamboyance , is it the coach not preparing players for tight situations,is it not having a smart captain. Sometimes in a tight game you can almost feel it coming and mentally start preparing yourself for the shock. Wish we had the player or a player like Cam Smith who has brains at least.

I have changed my opinion, it was his fault.

He should have laid hands on Moses and Robbie and let the crippled walk (preferably run) and the blind see

@Harvey that’s exactly the point isn’t it ! What more could he have done except sub himself off to also make another number from the bench toward game’s end. Shot by half-time I say... hoping we’re in it up to our eye balls at HT on Thursday though, big doubts

I remember watching Foxtel as the players walked out of the dressing room. Momorovski turns around and asks an assistant coach as to whether is the replacement kicker (if Mbye doesn't last on the field). I believe that the whole team, as they marched on to the field at game start knew that MBye was not going to last. Momorovski was not primed to being the team's kicker at the start of the game and for a player with 2 or 3 first grade games it clearly played on his mind.

It was the head coache's fault combined with MBye's stubborn selfishn to play.

Certainly Momirovski has never practised a goal kick in his life, and 5 minutes notice at the start of the game is not enough time to mentally prepare.

Also the whole team knew Mbye was not going to last but they played him anyway.

I'll be in gold class watching Once upon a Time in Hollywood.

If we lose the only reason I'll watch the replay is to see how the young centre went.

Lucky you,

Any spare tickets?,?

@Newtown maybe the thinking was that we needed his defence out on the edge... because he was zero chance of taking a shot at goal in that game. Would’ve been a virtual passenger either way and as you say, a combination of responsibility, interesting to note him and momo, along with Brooks giving early ball were able to create that first try before everything went to poo but for forty-five odd minutes looked likely to be enough... I blame our defence
And the kicking tee !

Don't forget the sticks of dynamite

Place needs a remodel

I don't blame Momo, I was a big fan until what happened last week. My frustration is how he handled the pressure, he either doesn't have an understanding of game management or belief that his team can win in any situation. The last try was scored in the 78th minute so even if he had kicked it it would the Tigers the chance to win the game in normal time. Hopefully the disappointment of last week will give the Tigers a bit more aggression tonight & keep them in the hunt for a semi's spot.

I can’t blame him - he’s probably the 4th choice kicker at a club where the first choice kicker is ordinary. That said, he really shanked that last one. I would have been disappointed if I kicked it...
Should never have been in that position.

My opinion of Momo is growing....just gutted for the kid that he missed such a crucial kick....but not everybody hits the game winner every single time....he'll learn from it
