read in the paper yest. that he said he was at the game on saturday and 'although the tigers have great support they were outnumbered 3:1". is this true? it was the FIRST WT finals game i had missed as i had a wedding in maitland to attend. my mates who were there said it was about 50 50, maybe slightly more drags. i find it hard to believe there was 53,000 drags there and only 17,000 WT which is the ratio he used.

he is trying to take the focus away form the 15:1 it will be this week?! or trying to get neutrals cheering for the roosters…..newflash steve, outside of your 10,000 no one gives a hoot about your club. ive really grown to hate em this year. never liked em but this year with mutts like anasta, shaun hyphen and pearce they got me. doesn't help we didn't beat em all year i spose

Dragon Army outmubered Wests Tigers supporters slightly…but were like a morgue for the majority of the game...I'm sure half of them were curled in a ball from panic....We defeinately made more noise ...the only time I heard Saint was when Soward kick the field goal and Smith put his knees into Lortay...The majority weren't even going off at the end of the game...I believe they were too embarrassed cause they new they jagged it....

I am bias though!!!

Noyces opinion on this is has as much credibility as his retirement announcement upon leaving Wests Tigers

I was home watching from Tele ofcourse!!

All I know is Tigers made more noise than Dragons which is all that matters. and Tigers were more motivated by that noise than the Dragons. So, Dragons paid more with li'l noise and Tiger payed less with more noise, so it's a Win-win situation people!!!

I was sitting in a WT supporters bay and I have no doubt there were more Dragons fans than WT fans…BUT I reckon we were louder..

I don't think there were more Dragons, well there were on the field but lets not go there. I was there and was scanning around and the very top tiers were mostly Tigers and if you consider that not every fan has black and gold shirts, including me i reckon it was close to 50/50.

The Drags been saving their money for ages - There not used to attending Semis

Woops . You're in a glass house there.
Us Tigers have been saving for the last 4 years.

I went to the game and I , too, reckon it was 60% dragons/40% tigers.
But the tigers were louder.

Sorry Guys but IMO there was double the Saints fans there, looking from Bay 131

So you reckon there was 48000 odd saints fans and 24000 odd Wests fans??
No way

I think spudoakes (post 2) pretty close…they had a bit more than us....all the side wheer the camera are from 20m to 20m some reason were mainlty saints fans - we were opposite-

LOL definately agree with Noyce. I was extremely suprised by how much we were outnumbered. I think 3:1 is definately fair.

Nooooooooooooooo, never.

I was at the ground and did not notice, but watching the replay there were more St George supporters, but 3:1 yeah right

Where were they 2 weeks before at Kogarah, was not even sold out

it would be ironic that if on sunday dragons beat the roosters.
.
noyce leaves a merged club, only to be beaten by one in the grand final.

No, not a chance, 60% / 40% is probably about right, particularly as the availability of seats prior to kick off, in the 3 respective bays of each team, were about the same through Ticketek. You also need to remember that white is much more noticeable than gold and/or black

Predictable though, since Saints have the biggest bandwagon in the free world. Their attendances through the season are so so, certainly nowhere near as good as ours and their great horde of internet supporters were always going to turn up for a final

Have to agree, I was in bay 132 and it was at LEAST 2 to 1… If you ask me Robbie wasn't happy about it judging
by his interview after the game..
