And to each their own, but personally, I think if it is "much more than just footy" to anyone, then I think they could do with a bit of introspection to reassess what's really important in life.

And you're not the 1st person to use it as I've probably said it myself.
People have the right to be just as passionate about footy as you are about whatever turns you on.

@cochise has said he would die for our club, and he has the right to do that if he chooses.
Lots of passion there.
But I reckon he would be just as passionate about his wife and daughter.

Older people like me who have had family and friends pass away...a loss of passion there so need something to replace that.
Older people like me who are maybe less active than we used to be so dont get around as much anymore, need something to replace that.
What about disabled people both physically and mentally who could be largely confined to their home, need something to be passionate about.

And last but by no means least...our Mods who give their time willingly to serve us by keeping this forum running. Like @Lauren raising a little boy as a single Mum. Lots of passion there not only for WT but her little boy as well.

We get so much enjoyment out of seeing our team win...a loss of passion there atm 😡 but we keep on coming back for more in the hope of seeing our team at least put in a 💯 effort game for a change.

Anyone with half a brain could tell it was a dumb decision bringing the old boys club back in. Would not be surprised if they did no analysis at all and brought back Sheens, Benji and Robbie on nostalgia alone. I think Heighno is in there too somewhere? Not sure what he does.

Not only do the fans have low expectations, but I'm also pretty bloody sure that mood has taken over the players as well. And not only the NRL team but the KOE team as well.

All the focus on the board and CEO the players can feel very lucky.

We cannot keep sacking coaches. Madge was sacked and we haven't improved. Sheens has bought on Bula and if he can somehow work that magic again we can improve.

We aren't getting better until we develop a quality roster and sacking the coach isn't going to improve that.

Bula was just a lucky get.
Bought to the club by one of his mates.
We cant rely on luck like that happening too often.
Unfortunately every other player in the backline seems to be going backwards under Sheens.

Yep always living in the past, trying to recreate something that has long gone. Meanwhile other teams are concentrating on the present and the future. You can’t expect to move forward while you’re looking in the rear view mirror all the time.

It was a bad loss, but we are a bad team with any injuries. Now that Brooks is going I can understand why the team has no heart…not that Brooks was a great leader, it’s tough to build momentum when senior players are leaving, basically suggesting they’ve had enough.

I can’t see us getting out of this any time soon, and I think the twat with the moustache and the wannabe 1920s New York gangster need to go before anything changes.

A few weeks ago Starford Toa was a superstar, this week making mistake after mistake and you can see how frustrated he is with his own performance and that of his team mates around him.

Junior Tupou, after looking promising earlier in the season is going backwards fast in recent weeks and looks to be playing with very little confidence.

Asu Kapoa after bulking up in the off season started off looking like he was going to go okay off the bench for limited minutes in the second row but should be no where near the wing or in the centres, which doesn't say much for Brent Naden's form if he is keeping him out of the side.

Not much point talking about our dire situation with the halves and where the hell was Benji, has he left the building, in which case I would not blame him.

It’s not Sheens and the coaching staff, it’s the repetitive ineptitude from management and I’ve had enough.

Exactly how I see it. There was a noticeable change in player resilience once Brooks was lowballed and Fultongate occurred - pretty much at the same time. Both were balls ups by management. Before these decisions the team was starting to show resilience and give us some hope.
