Watchful Tigers keen to snare Blair

I was ears dropping on sheens at a local game last year
He was talking about Heighno, and that there probably not going to resign him after his contract, something along those lines.
Hence, If we sign Blair, Heighno will be on his bike,

Heighno is signed till the end of 2013, he'll probably go to england after that

Seriously :bash Heighno only just re-signed this year for a couple of years.

haha its 'eavesdrop'

Blair close to a done deal apparently, $550,000-00

If those are the numbers on offer, he'd be mad not to sign. Hopefully a large chunk of that is 3rd party sponsorship.

If its over half a million a year, I'm nervous as to what this means for our long term recruitment. His contract would be heavily backloaded and reliant on 3rd party deals. Hopefully Harry T has a mate with deep pockets who isn't affiliated with the club.

The one thing that pains me is the effect a massive offer like that will have on the squad. You have a tonne of loyal clubmen in the Tigers. What would say to them about loyalty if someone like Blair comes in and gets a much larger paycheck than them when he isn't much better than the guys he will be replacing.

I know what you are saying but it's not like the other guys are playing for meat trays and slabs of beer, the majority of the team are on good money.

I think no one would have an issue in signing him so long as he improves the team.

Blocker Roach touched up the Tiger signing Blair on the CC today. He said all will be revealed soon.

According to Bulldog Ritchie on the big sports breakfast yesterday he declared that Adam Blair would be playing for Wests Tigers next year alongside Benji Marshall, how long is ellis tied up for??? who are we going to let go???

Would not believe everything that he says . This is the guy the other night swore that Bennett would be going to souths when there was only 2 clubs left in the running . If you can't get it right when only 2 clubs involved what chance when 16 are . If we are going to hear something about Blair I reckon it will be the week of the Test match if he is selected for Test imo

If we were to get Blair, surely he'd be played as a back-rower. What a waste it would be to put him at prop.

8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Blair
13\. Heighington

14\. Fifita
15\. Dwyer
16\. Woods
17\. Back most prob (Moltzen if we are full strength)
Would be best back row in the comp.

100% Here

We got 4 decent Props and Woods is a gun as well

Read an article in RLW about Bellamy wanting mid season player movement to be "tidied up" And said "The likes of Adam Blair and Jamal Idris changing horses mid stream to be very disruptive to their current clubs' Does that mean that Bellamy has already written off their chances of resigning Blair already . The blocks might be starting to fall into place peoples ….....

During the four nations last year Blair was interviewed on talkin sport and said he actually preferred playing prop to second row. Surprised me alot.
