Is he going to be available this week? He always causes us trouble and i'm sure Lui will be his target all night.

Chock or no chock the manly forwards will have a red bulls eye on Lui and Marshall both problems in their defensive game, Marshalls has improved but he still come up with some really bad misses one on one. Lui on the other hand gifts at least one try every week to the other teams.

I really rate Manly they are big strong and hard, also have some really good players in their key positions. Really hard to see us getting the money or for that matter getting close. I think Sheen's plan to bulk up in 2012 will be vindicated after Friday night.

Lets hope he picks a bench that can at least physically handle the battle

i think Manly are ready to be beaten.

We can beat Manly.
Our defense needs to improve across the paddock not just a couple of players.

this is true…
we need ellis or someone to be lui's protector for the night, absolutely messing anyone up who comes near him...

Watmough is a bad match for us, he'll be on Lui's side of the field (as will Foran and Matai also tough assignments for lui) and at stages are surely to catch Lui 1 on 1, we just have to hope he handles him well enough until help arrives.

I think Benji has improved his defence out of sight in the past couple of years, but I think he sometimes has a bad read in him, G Stewart will have ask alot of questions of benji, hope he gets them right

IKR?
Fulton and Aysh need to protect Lui.

sad isn't that we need to take one player out of the defence line to back Lui up, you won't see that with Manly, Saints, Melbourne etc etc

Yes you do. The St George forwards always protect Soward who is jusy as bad a defender as Lui.

Our forwards havent beem doing theor job right if Lui is getting isolated one on one.

will struggle all night to get any field position from our kicks, we just will not make enough yards in our defensive sets so Manly will be coming at us from close range all night and eventually the flood gates will open and the score will be big and ugly.

Lets hope Iam wrong but I was at the corresponding game last year and thats what happened and nothing has changed this year except Sheens has decided to go with a extra back on the bench–madness once again

hahaha no offence to you imparticular but this lui stuff is becoming comical..
people are just pulling rubbish from no where…
ST GEORGE PROTECTED JAMIE SOWARD - ALOT... now he's the best NSW has...

Yep mtd. How does any backrower let a halfback with known defensive issues get isolated against a player twice his size?
