We are changing; for the better. It's tough now, but the right decisions are being made to undo all the previous bad management.

It's easy to look at the Wests Tigers current situation and write us off as a basket case.

We all knew it was going to take time to turn the club around, so let's give it time. And if you expected results straight away, then you don't have a grip on the reality of our situation.

European Soccer clubs lead the way for professionalism; you know what they do? They loan out their players when they are having a rough patch.

Richo and Batemans management have agreed that Bateman to return to the Super League where he can spend some time with family and find some form for the rest of this season and return in 2025 when things are a bit better for us. Honestly, I think this is a great move.

Stefano being allowed to negotiate early? Again, better to pull the bandaid off early. The contract he had was STUPID and showed how poor previous management were. Richo played his cards right here in my opinion. He did the right thing by Stef. If he goes, we've done everything we can to keep him. But nothing was going to stop him from looking around because of the pathetic contract that was already in place (not something our current management did).

We all love Robbie, he's part of the Tigers Fabric. But that doesn't make him a qualified assistant coach. If we compare to what Bellamy is doing in Melbourne and how Ryles has been under his wing for a while, these assistants have earnt their stripes. Robbie hasn't earnt his stripes as a coach yet. If he's serious about it, he'll start in the lower grades, work his way up and bounce back from this. Love ya Robbie.

We have 3 gun halves for 2025. Luai, Galvin and Fainu. When have we ever had this luxury? Never, not Marshall and Prince.

Our outside backs are "good enough" for 2025, one more signing wouldn't go astray though.
Our forward pack is another thing all together and we 100% need to sign at least 2 players, including resigning Pole. But we cant talk to players until after the season and there arent many on the open market right now. So sit tight.

Its as bad as its going to get this year. The only way is up.

Hang in fellow tiger fans, we will be competing again in no time (not this year though).

Let's see next year...hope you are right.. In my view 2025 will be very critical year for the club....another year where we just have no chance of playing finals footy and the player flood gates will open outwards

Funny how we are the only club who can’t speak to players till November, every other club are making signings , all we see is players leaving and nothing coming in , club is a basket case , players jumping the ship like rats , and still the club tells its supporters bugger all

I think you are misguided at best.

You cannot build a successful team by letting players go without adequate replacements. Recruitment for next year was pretty much done before last Christmas. We are weakening our roster.

Our coaching appointments were a mistake from the time Sheens was allowed to appoint himself. It has not got any better. Farah & Heighington while club legends had no coaching experience and are not the sort of assistants you place around a rookie coach. That is not a rookie first grade coach, but a true rookie who has next to no coaching experience at all.

Players are not buying into the smoke and mirrors. The experienced players are going backward and the young players can't wait to get out of the place. Meanwhile we do not have a home ground next year.

We are a club without an identity (other than a running joke), no soul and no idea.

If only we performed like the Dogs and Dragons this year… players would have some belief we are heading in the right direction

Agree. Robbie was not a qualified assistant coach and should never have been there. Dumb wasn't it. What does that say about Benji, as he could not be considered a 'qualified' assistant coach, let alone head coach. I am very happy we have decent halves for next year, but we need some forwards to go with them. We have been looking "up" for years. To be honest, I think if Benji does not produce early near year he will get his marching orders. Who knows, maybe Sam Burgess might consider linking with his old CEO.

Great post. The clowns on here will attack you with ill-informed diatribe but ignore. Patience and self-control are not their forte.

Come on stop been naive, stepho gone , Bateman won’t be back , and if I am honest to myself , I expect pole to move on come November, and don’t be surprised if Galvin manager doesn’t try again to get him out .
I'm being naive if this was the Tigers of old.

With Richo and Benji running the ship, I am 100% certain I am not.

You are speculating...

- Stepho isn't confirmed (and its actually better we let him go than pay $1mill a season to try and keep him).
- Bateman's agreement says he will be back.

And my speculation:
- Pole will resign on a chunky contract with us.
- Galvin has a chance to play with the NSW State of Origin #6. He wont be going anywhere.

Aaahhh... The P word

I think we've all shown plenty of patience.... It's only been 14 effen years since we played September footy
Shove your patience
The changes we required only happened in 2023/2024.
So yeah, patience is required.
Everything before now has been stop gap solutions.
They are actually focusing on getting the foundations right.... which is what I personally want so we are a long term success as a club.
