We can win our next 5

Momentum is such a wonderful thing to have. 5 in a row, is not impossible. Confidence, cohesion, continuity all helps. 10 points on offer, to take Wests to 28 points with 2 games & a potential 4 points remaining. Will 28 points be the magic number needed to make the finals??? I personally think 30 points will see teams make the 8, however 28 maybe the minimum with for and against playing a huge role in the general make up of positions 6th-8th. One game at a time, one game at a time….

We are due….Raiders are a different team down there no doubt....But they are definately beatable....
 
Eddie, you are right we can win our next five but iam afraid we wont. For the last four years this team has lacked consistency and that just dosnt happen over night. We will have some good wins before the season is out but next week their is as much chance as a shocker as a win. Its the way we have been playing for a long time. Theirs plenty to like about what I saw yesterday but I know its highly unlikely they will reproduce that form over a five week stretch. Sad but true
 
Raiders is a very big ask.

As for Manly it depends on the reff to be perfectly honest. There are some officials who think we are a small team and still let others lay all over the ruck

He is the Raiders… If we let him run and control the game we will lose. If we shut him down and limit his options and time with the ball then we will win..
 
If we can beat the Raiders down there I will start thinking we are a chance of making the finals. It's really do or die every week though.

we also got to shut down that fullback Josh Dugan hes a danger man aswell
 
i still reckon we are gonski for the year but if we win the next couple i may change my mind. every game is hard inthe nrl even the lowly placed teams when they turn up on the day and play they are capable of beating anyone.
canberra will be tough ask thats for sure.
 
lets just start by winning against canberra.
shut down their main playmakers.
we saw in game yesterday, that wests-tigers, at stages during the game appeared to have let opponnents back in. to be honest not alot of people give wests-tigers any chance of making the top 8.
so really the pressure is off, as they are expected to fall in a heap, and miss the finals, once again.

when the season is over, and if wests-tigers do not make the top 8, we will look back and say, " if only".
un fortunately " if only" does not secure a win, or get the team two points.
it needs to be done during the game, and only experience can alter that..
 
Yep…beat the Raiders and I might start getting excited again. But atm, it feels like Sheens left the necessary changes too late - Gallant, Marshall, Moltzen and Farah should have been our Super 4 months ago :frowning: Most of us knew that...but Sheens.

I worked out the ladder predciter and I have us in 10th place on 24th points and we need 28 probaly 30 with F and A to get into the 8

god I hate Canberra if we can win down there like we did from the dead in 05 that would be worth more then me then a top 8 spot thats how much I hate those scumbags

especially when they controversially beat us twice in extra time 20-18 and 19-18 way back in 2006

agree, also close and exciting games with the dogs… much like i chances of winning that then eagles or titans.. :]
 
The Raiders will be tough, but at least its a daytime game. We seem to have played much better on Sunday afternoons this year. Having said that our Monday night form is surprising good as well.
