we are in golden point,its been a tough grind,the crowd is on its feet as the game can go either way....then you have a brain explosion and gift a penalty right infront to the opposition and they win the game....

I'm fairly sure, without checking it, that the refs watched Milford's FG attempt before penalising Rochow.

I'm guessing that they thought Rochow wasn't square but would have let it go if the field goal went over. Obviously the referee would prefer not to blow a penalty in that situation if the team was about to win anyway.

I don't think it was a malicious call. I think Klein just isn't up to first grade standard and made a clanger when he was under pressure.

Id say the last idiot that ruled against a top club in a situation like that had his contract terminated.

All these so called experts like Gould, Johns, Rothfield, Tallis whoever are all making a lot of noise but not one of them will call it how it is.

We got screwed because the refs favour the top teams.
