Dump on Tayor and now dump on Rankin. Why?

Rankin has been playing out of position this year and has done a reasonable job. Takes bombs ok., tackles ok, has not let in any tries because of his mistakes, scored a few tries and kicked some goals.

What's not to like.

He has been playing out of position a ton.How many wingers you see in first grade play hooker…or half for that matter???

He's not good enough for our team regardless of position. I just don't think he's a very good player.

Rankin was having a pretty good game yesterday and then it all seemed to go pearshape.

Hard to understand some coaches, Sheens and his Fitzy love for years on end drove me absolutely bonkers

Me too, could never understand the love for Fitzy, especially at 5/8th, now we are doing it all over again with Rankin. :bash

I remember vividly 2005 when we were all hating on Fitzhenry and rightfully so(he did suck).But then towards the finals, he drank some magic kool-aid cause when the team rose he rose with it. :laughing:

I didn't mind Fitzy on the wing, but not in the halves like Sheens kept on trying, but Rankin he is no NRL winger, he failed at fullback a couple of weeks ago, he is no hooker, why is he in the team when we are suppose to be picking our best team. :crazy

Your opinion of course. Very valid, but saying that he is not good enough for our team, is stretching it a bit.

The best team has been picked the last 2 weeks with two wins what part of this do we all not get!

:roll yep it was so cohesive. Like a well oiled machine. Flawless displays from those brought in to cover positions that we had experts ready to step into….

No doubt this is a huge test. But even what you consider to be our best side could easily get towelled up by the cowboys.
The two squads don't really compare.
