We need a new coach and we need to lock it in now

I've been very neutral as far as Taylor is concerned, but I've had enough.
He got rid of the problem causing Farah, got the team he wanted and the coaching staff he wanted.
Still we get this crap week in week out.
Bye Jas.

I'm a JT supporter and I believe he will get tossed.
I'm really afraid the admin with throw everything at the big 4 now and pull in another coach.
We don't need any rash decisions right now or it could stuff us for another decade.

You are kidding, JT has had since october 2014 to fix his mantra, he has failed and failed miserably, time to go and now

Under taylor. we lost so many good players that have gone on and have turned their playing careers around. Siro looked good last night. Nathan Brown also good for parra. Akoula last week. Te marie martin. Ado carr , blake austin, even Farah looked good against ordinary newcastle team. Under taylor the best half back prospect in the game for the last decade (BROOKS) has gone backwards. why??? last week was abysmal and i think woods comments on nrl 360 tells you this is taylors last year… lets appoint cleary as a new coach with Payton as assistant. Payton takes over after 3 yrs, i think Toddy will be good for the halves..

A couple players we let go looked good this weekend. Man, that is unacceptable.

Would of been nice if we had marty tapow or adam blair.. Taylor couldnt get the best out of them so we moved them on too.. so we bring in joel edwards and kyle lovett who get smashed in every tackle. We also decided to move keith on a yr early.. Taylor decided this year to move aloia from the second row to front row and sue to the back row…after aloia showed real promise late last year at second row. By the way we also lost all three grades 2 weeks running executing taylors master plan?? go figure?

I would resign if I were Taylor, seriously.
Let these kids have what they want and watch them sunk their careers down the tubes.
I just don't care anymore. It's a complete shambles from the top down to the toilet cleaners at Leichhardt oval.

What a mess. The coach has to be sorted before the playing roster, otherwise we're facing a third successive coach who signs and is forced to adopt a playing roster. What a cycle. Our players are orphans.

Please, no more rookie coaches.
Blind Freddie can see that we need a proven, experienced coach.

You know what a proven coach will do?
He will sweep out the untalented hangers-on and bring in proven performers. They won't all be topliners but they will all be proven first graders. And they won't all be asking top dollar because they will want to play for the coach.

He won't change the style of play for the likes of Brooks and Moses - he will make them change the way they play. If they don't he'll sell them for someone who will.

He will change the way we defend.

The only real option for me right now is Des Hasler. He won't be cheap and he'll want plenty of other changes but he will definitely change this rabble.

Nuff said

One of the Dad's Army coaches maybe? Correct me if I'm wrong, but when Taylor stuffed up at Souths John Lang stepped in as interim coach until they signed Maguire. Same age as Wayne Bennett and Tim Sheens so not past it by any means. I've no idea what he's doing these days but there are others floating around who would be cheap interim coaches.

What did Payten actually do to upset so many fans?

Was supposedly white anting Potter with others.

For mine a better question would be….What has Payten actually done (as a coach) to have so many fans (of him taking over from Taylor)?

Has had big wraps fro m the Cowboys.as an assistant coach

Cleary is the only option 2006 took over Warriors after salary cap dramas and team went 12w and 12l missed the finals 2007 finished in 4th position, 2008 reached preliminary final, 2009 7 wins 14 losses missed the finals, 2010 reached the finals, 2011 made the GF. Penrith was a rebuild job 2012 15th, 2013 10th, 2014 4th 2015 11th and sacked in 2016.

Both the Warriors and Panthers were way under their salary caps over the period and the Panthers had a massive injury crisis when he was punted. He is good at building teams.

I'm not so sure Cleary would be interested.
He is friends with Pascoe but that doesn't help with the playing group.
He doesn't have a say on recruitment as Dave Warwick and Kelly Egan would be in charge of that.
He doesn't have a respected figurehead supporting his every tough decision like Gus.
I say get Payten in.
Call me sentimental but Cleary belongs on the east cost and he'd have hell of a lot nore success over with manly.
The next coach is not going to win a premiership with this mob. The 4 have got it wrong. They are way off. The next coach will be building a premiership side. So let Payton build with the team. But the club makes smart moves on the 4 and doesn't get held to ransom by them. Work out the 2 or maybe 3 you would build around and sign them up long term on less than market value. That is the key.
Blank canvas and almost blank cheque, the next coach will make us a powerhouse side but we will not win a premiership.
Just like Ricky has done with the raiders.

One positive with Cleary is that hel have a good rapore with warriors and penrith players. A few good panthers coming off contract this year.
