I was as impressed with his first effort this season as I was disappointed in his 2nd. I know people are ready to lynch him immediately, but I'm happy to leave the noose in the cupboard for now.
I don't think JLJ is the answer & never will be. So, even if we are going to dump Brooks at year's end, I want the coach to continue supporting him in public.
We don't need a superstar halfback. JLJ fits the criteria much like Michael Morgan does with JT. Not a world beater but knows his role.
Moses and JLJ have partnered before and haven't lost when starting together.
We need money to fix other positions in the squad before we go dumping near a million bucks for this overdue kid.
I rate Morgan along the same lines of Jack Bird , you'd be paying 700 k + for either of them
With the increase in salary cap it is a players market , especially with the indecision of the NRL with an actual cap figure for 2018 and beyond
I also rate Morgan that's why I used their halves paring as an example.
Morgan plays second fiddle to JT, that's what we need.
When both Moses and Brooks both trying to assert their mark on the game in attack at the same time you get what happens last week.
Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the broth.
Moses needs to be king playmaker for us.
