We need a tougher pack

I want WT to win the comp in 2013\. Let's get the bad vibes out of the way now and move forward.

We had to have changes to the squad. It's great that the team are all mates, but how about some loyalty to the Club by not venting your "confusion" in the media?

Personally, I'd like to see the players banned from media interviews, Twitter, Facebook, The Footy Show and general profile building for a while, and focussed on doing things that will improve the team's performance before March next year.

The media hype in 2012 did not win us any games.

Good luck to Chris & Beau and thanks for the memories, but it was the right decision to push them out. We have a side that's underperformed since 2005\. Those young guys who won the comp are running out of chances to do it again. A small forward who misses too many tackles and a slow winger with an inflated media profile were good players to lose in order to strengthen the side.

Unlike most fans I reckon Sheens should stay.

I'd like to see the Tigers run out in March next year looking fitter, faster, bigger and hungrier. I'd like to see them wearing black boots and looking to dominate in the middle and around the ruck. The fancy stuff should be shelved. We need to go forward and play off the back of that.

Forget training until the GF. Send the players for a break, get them back in mid-November and get then get them ready to help Aaron Woods take the team forward. In 2012 Aaron was 6th in the NRL for runs, 4th for meters gained and 15th for tackles. Who is going to help him keep our middle tight next year?

The Tigers need a better pack to go anywhere in 2013\. Simple as that. Farah, Marshall, Moltzen, Lawrence and others can score enough points, but we have to harden up in defence, get more go forward from our pack and play tighter in middle.

The club and the players need to be tougher mentally and phsyically This has been apparent for many seasons

When it comes to making the tough decisions on and off the field we struggle

That is why we make so many wrong decisions on and off the field

Last night was the perfect example

yep I agree and all the problems come back to poor leadership, not at the player level but every level above them.

As the old saying goes:
100 sheep led by a lion is better than 100 lions led by a sheep.

Totally agree - he is signed for a couple more years. Why whinge and carry on like headless chooks? Work with what we have. Sure, we lost those two good players - obviously they were not part of the future plans at the club the way they were treated. Well, they have moved on and so should the club. Time to rebuild and toughen up what he have and there are many youngans who can step up to the mark.

Let us all put our shoulder to the wheel.

I agree which is why letting heighno go is a good thing. Galloway is also unfortunately a liabity, very hot an cold, if he isnt injured. Should have kept moors to link with bmm an pettybourne

I think we need the following:-

1\. A lot more pace in our outside backs. The 2 young wingers Koro and Nofo (not sure how to spell their names) should be walk up starters. Tedesco gets the fullback position and Moltzen if he stays can get one centre spot. Lawrence walks into the other spot.
2\. A forward pack with grunt. Galloway and Woods to me are close to if not the best pair of props in the game. They need back-up and we need to find 2 reserves that are quality players as well. To add to that we need a decent backrow - Blair, Fulton and BMM should get the starting roles but we need to find some impact off the bench.
3\. Sheens should go. The players need a change.

I'm less worried about the halves. Benji in one spot and Anasta, Sironen or Miller will get the other role. If Benji fires and he should with a good pack and outside backs the other role won't be a big issue especially with Farah there as well.

I think the player turnover is positive even if we don't sign anyone. Signings should be based on value for money. We shouldn't be overpaying.

With a bit of luck with injuries we can do well next year with the players that we already have.

Moors could have been a future prospect, but he's long gone now and all we can do is wish. But I for one am excited about our younger players coming through. Fotuaika, Lovett, Nofo all look good.

I love Moltz (yes, i am crazy) but he doesn't deserve a centre spot, as we saw this year, using him out of position does nothing, so why would we bother starting him again form centre? He is a halves player, and not good enough to cut it in first grade.
I would happily use him as our 14\. unless he picks up his game to earn the no.7

Moltzen should be nowhere near the centres.

If you want impact off the bench then BMM should be there and not start. He is most effective coming off the bench around the 30 minute mark. Just because he is effective then doesnt mean he should be granted a starting spot. The way you structure the interchange is just as important as your starting 13, and I dont think BMM would be any use in the starting side
