Rep player is a bit of a stretch too. He’s as much of a rep player as Josh Reynolds was when we signed him. Hasn’t played origin since 2016

The club is doing such a wonderful job with the retention and recruitment of top talent. The board and the club needs an overhaul , long overdue. Tigers losing lifelong fans due to inept and bad decisions. Who would you prefer after two rounds based on form Benji or Brooks ? Brooks 850k a season , have you looked at his stats ? I just think we need to move on from Brooks being a halfback. It’s the common denominator in us not playing finals.

Yes volkman had a wow of a game against us in the trials and has lam and Walker in front of him at the roosters. I have seen nothing from madden to suggest he will be anything special. So our half issue needs to be dealt with externally.

There definitely has to be doubt about his desire to give 110% for another club, especially when the chips are down. Seen it so many times in the past when we've got players like him.

Don't think its a waste, every time we had opportunity to score or repeat set Brooks bombed it from memory, it was embarrassing (last game). Not even a simple grubber.

I understand it won't fix everything, but repeat sets and maybe a try or two helps.

Yea well , if we pay a 32 year old with chronic leg issues, who wants to be somewhere else 1 mil a season , we are guaranteeing your scenario . If we persevere with the kids who are in our system , not necessarily Brooks , then we have a far better chance of not only making the finals for 1 season , but moving towards the pointy end of the table , to be honest where we belong .
There’s a reason most other Sydney fans hate us , and it has way more to do with pre 90s tigers teams always being there or there about a , even with inferior squads . I’m talking about the Balmain side , which is how everyone really thinks about us , external of tigers supporters . Not many think magpies when they talk about tigers history , which is a shame , but I think most see that as the reality . Don’t hammer me Magpies originals , I’m not having a go , it’s a bug bear of yours as well . This is where the dancing on our grave comes from . Apart from 2015 and 2016 he has never missed more than a few games per season through injury.

I love WT but also watch other games and appreciate other teams and players. Adam Reynolds is a quality half back and goal kicker. There is not much quality half backs around. My concerns is Reynolds bleeds Red and Green, turning 32 and appears to play injured.
He is better than Brooks and has won a premiership but at this stage of his career he is looking at one last big pay day. He would turn out to be Joshua Reynolds mark two IMO.
I don't have an answer but if Madden is not in future plans happy to look at Voodeman from Easts.
