Mbye, Reynolds, McQeen, all released by clubs because they could not see the value in them, the same with BJ, and another couple we bought. We will never get a good side buying players from the trash can of other clubs.

Why in the world would Reynolds be a top buy.? A good kicking game obviously, but he is not an attacking half, he does not organise the attack, Walker and the hooker do that, he is 30 and injury prone, what a rediculous buy for $700,000 on a 3 or even 2 yr contract. Only Boozer Buzz can make sense out of it !

Say what you like about Reynolds, it’s all just opinion anyway, but fact is he is not injury prone, so I wish people would stop using that as a reason to not sign him

No I'm not. I'm pretty rubbish actually. But I'd never say to just sign some bloke that I don't even know the name of that's done nothing outside of maybe a decent trial.

I mentioned him by name. He had a blinder and had masssive raps on him. Was chased hard by rugby union and the roosters. He wouldn’t be on big money , so to me it’s a no brainer. Especially when our depths in our halves is very limited.

But if you are then looking at Brooks as a running 5/8 ...Brooks need to find that speed he lost from a couple of years ago and if given the choice between Brooks and Douehi I'd take Douehi

Doueihi needs time at 6. I'd give Brooks and AD the halves roles all season.

If Brooks is our halfback all year we don’t play finals and more then likely will get our first wooden spoon.

He has been there previously and we haven't gotten the spoon. I think our team is looking stronger.

Can you show me where I’ve stated this is the worst team we’ve had in years? I actually think this is the strongest roster we have had in ages. Players like Laurie, Douie, talau, bore, Stefano and the simpkins get me very excited.

Our achiles heel is our halfback and there are no more excuses. I don’t hate him but he has run out of excuses. No Farah to blame, no Benji to blame and we finally have a decent forward pack. When expert halves like fitlerand John’s are telling us that Brooks kicking game is killing us and leading to these second half blow outs because of the field position we keep feeding our opponents then I’m happy to listen to them. Time to move on otherwise we will be fighting it out with the bottom four due to not having a proper halfback running our team.
