We Should Re Sign Tim Moltzen

@Balmain Boy said:
But humble would be on a third of what Moltz is, so if you're going to play a utility off the bench for 5 mins a game, why not choose the cheaper one when they have a similar quality

agreed

Moltzen is getting back to his form that we seen at the end of last season we will sign him i c him as our fullback everybody talks about tedesco like he is a superstar fullback who will automatically get the fullback position as soon as he is recovered all he has played is half of a game for us hasn't proved himself yet!! Moltzen is our fullback he keeps on playing good other players will have to fight to get that spot which will b great to c

You obviously haven't watched enough of Tedesco. He's the best fullback in the club

My opinion isnt based on looks! I think motz is talented and has a huge amount of potential! How a player plays in u/20's doesn't make him a superstar to me he didnt prove himself in the short time b4 he got injured!

Disagree on that one. Moltzen will be re-signed, but Tedesco will start next year at fullback.

If Tedesco started at fullback ahead of Moltzen this yr, then provided he's fit, its a no-brainer he'll start ahead of him next yr as well

I'm pretty sure Tedesco wasn't even a certainty to play in the first game and the plan was for Moltzen to shift to HB at the start of the season too remember?

That was a smokescreen regarding Tedesco. Moltzen on the other hand is definitely not a halfback. He is a decent 6 though.

Firstly want to say any attempt to compare Lui and Moltzen as men is disgusting and sad - one bloke bashed his preg ant girlfriend while the other mearly had a simple contractual dispute which happens in the real world all the time no harm done.

Moltzen has been playing great last few weeks , I say resign him he is a great 14 but also a great fullback and a great five eight, solid halfback , etc and if you really believe everyone in those positions will be fit all the time then your kidding, look at this year both Sironen and tedesco injured and tedesco might well take time coming back

You need to read what I wrote again…dont take it out of context.
Twisting anothers words is pathetic

Simple contract dispute?
He made a decision then went back on it, gave his word and went back on it...hiding behind the club and bringing bad press on it when others were trying to find him, contact him, ignored phone calls, stuck his head in the sand "make it go away!!!"
Theyre the actions of a spoilt child...someone who made a poor call and let others get him out of it

I dont respect women beaters and I dont respect people that dont front up to there responsibilitys...I find it disgusting and sad people condone this.

If it were another player from another club coming here then went back on his word, it'd be a different story.

Throw in his habit of giving it to team mates when they stuff up (to be fair this he seems to getting this out of his game)...I find it hard to like him

So once again because you missed or ignored it...Im not comparing what both did, I'm comparing how its hard to support them....theres a difference. :bash

It looks like he might be staying because no one else will have him. His nothing special. No reason to re sign him. None.

Why is everyone blaming Moltzen for the contract dispute? He was told to look around and did so. He never wanted to leave. The club then decided they didnt want him to leave despite him already signing another contract. He would have been under instruction to do what he did. (not turn up for meetings, not answer phone calls etc) Tim is the last person at fault for all this. The people who the finger should be pointed at are Sheens, Humphries, Tauber, Doust and then Moltzen.

Hahaha that's crazy. His instructions would have come from Tauber not Sheens or Humphreys. What crap.

So Tauber told him to look elsewhere and sign a contract? And Tauber told him to reneg on his contract? Tauber had to of got his info from someone at WT. The first would have been to look elsewhere and the next would have been we still want you. But hey lets blame 21 year old Tim because some dont like him.
