We still get no respect

I know this is only fans speaking so not really too relevant but can't help but feel despite our good start to the season, we are still not respected by opposition fans (and I suspect other teams/players) too.

I realise Farah being out is a huge loss (along with Tedesco) but I still expect us to be competitive, even if we do not win. Most others do not agree…

_This is a possible game to improve a differential and get it back into the positives.\

Two points in the bag.\

I think it's a dead certainty we will thrash the Tigers this weekend. They are historically our little bitches - and without Farrah, will be easy to beat.\
\
May be a bit cocky, but I'm not concerned about the Tigers._

I was thinking about this yesterday and to be honest I am happy for things to keep going the way they are.

We have had some good wins but the focus has always been on the opposition being poor and that allows us to keep playing everything down.

I would rather go into a game with the opposition thinking it should be an easy win and not being entirely focused than being targeted as the team to beat.

Sure it would be great to read about how great the team is in the paper everyday but I like the way things are playing out at present,

If opposition fans and the media don't want to give us the respect we deserve we will just have to keep playing football the way we are until they do.

the difference is that this time we're gaining respect from the other teams. i can see it.

soon, it will be fear :sign:

If we hadn't suffered two blowouts I am sure there would be a bit more respect shown

Who cares what the one toothed hillbillies from parramatta think?
Yawn

Just checking. Have we been favourites to win a single game this year? I think not…

The people who have the most confidence in our team are the players themselves. Happy for us to keep taking scalps while we fly under the radar.

Will be even better when we get the likes of Robbie, teddy, Siro & Sue back.

Lack of respect is very good for the confident punter. Tigers paying upwards of $2.70 this week?

You are well ahead so far if you've backed Tigers every week.

Let them have their fun mouthing off…......... It's been a long time since a Parra fan has been able to show any sign of confidence. Won't last long.
Poor buggers !

The Gold Coast are on top of the table and i don;t respect them or expect them to finish on top at the end of the season. We need to maintain these performances a little longer than 6 weeks to earn respect.

As long as the players believe then i'm happy.

So long as Luani gives the pack and halfs some quick crisp passes we will be at the very least a competitive side. If he can add some well timed dummy half runs, a solid kicking game and some good defence then we will go well.

wests-tigers have beaten, souths, manly and the cowboys.
when we beat the roosters and bulldogs and storm, maybe everyone will be more wary.

at the moment no one sees wests-tigers as a threat.
