After tonights game unless there is a draw we will end up 8th on the ladder. What are your thoughts on this guys? Seeing we have a new coach and all those dramas in the off season are you happy or not. Personally I am happy, last year we lost 5/6 of our first games correct me if I am wrong. We got thrashed the first game but after that most of our players have improved. Thoughts guys….

Its round 3, i have no thoughts. I'm gonna go out on a limb and speak for the majority and say as long as you win a couple early games like we have, at this stage of the season the ladder is insignificant. Come back in round 10

We're pretty much just the best of the bottom sides. There's no doubt we'll end up above Parra, Penrith, Broncos, Dragons, Raiders, Warriors. We'll be thereabouts with the Titans, Knights, Sharks, Cowboys et al for the bottom spots of the eight.

I am pleasantly surprised. Round 1 was what I was expecting, rounds 2 and 3, although still poor in a few ways, have been encouraging. Injuries are a huge concern but the effort is there so I am not unhappy at present.

Yeah judge the opposition more than anything , vs Panthers they were in all sorts loosing Coote , putting a hooker at 5/8th and having to shuffle there squad and still couldn't put them away and Parra they were absolutely woeful gave 2 tries on a platter the Marshall tap run 70 metres to score and the Molzten try which there winger tried to be creative and pass the ball in his in goal , only to fall at the hands of Moltzen to score , and even still had a nervous last 10 minutes to hold on to the win . I'll tell you after playing Manly and the Storm , but wins are wins…..

As it's round 3, I don't make much of the ladder, but it's a good start to the season. I expected a couple rough games with a new coach and a fair few new players and structure however my expectations for the first couple games have been broken. Good start Potsy.

Yes as is the playing of new, young players and replacing injured props with pros instead of wingers.A lot of the common sense things that sheens missed apparently potter is not.thank god.Lets see exactly what weve got from within and then cull where needed before we look for players from outside the group.

Man way too early to be making predictions like that. I get the feeling the injury monster hasnt finished with us yet. If the improvement weve seen since round 1 continues though I recon there is definately cause for optomism sure we arnt there yet but who would want to peak in round three or four.

No offence mate, but this is a ridiculous thread to start at this stage of the season and an even more ridiculous statement to say, without doubt, that we will finish 8th. So many things can, and will, change within all of the teams at any time throughout the year. The first could become last and the last could become first. At the moment every team, bar Melbourne, are up and down like a bride's nightie! Melbourne are probably the only sure bet to make top 4, but if Slater or Smith were to go down injured long term … than perhaps not.

What a great forumer, 2 Days out from a game where we are 2 from 3 and the opposition are exactly the same, while I have been underwhelmed by the sides efforts so far we should take into account that the opposition was beaten by the Gold Coast last weekend.
