Canberra played to the referee better than us. They also defended really well shutting us down. Pretty much just like the nrl side aggressive line speed makes our attack one out and overall dumb.
Disappointing that bent didn’t get much ball.
Unfortunately the game was still there to be won but nobody to break it open.
Either way neither side has enough points in them to compete with the top 3.
 
Just on last night. Really good atmosphere at the ground. Obviously disappointed with the result but so many injuries this year caught up with us last night. Raiders played to the refs interpretation & we didn’t get anything in the ruck. They jumped the line consistently & it payed off for them & time Sharpe allowed on the holding down on the ruck was so frustrating. Having said that they played better than us overall. Great season girls onwards and upwards from here.
 
6 nil....they gave it their all. The defense is as good as any of them but they need to develop the midfield attack during the long offseason...they have nothing to threaten with outside 20 metres
The girls should feel proud of their 70 minute effort though ..Craig Sandercock has a good group to keep developing and add a bit of pace to the backline.

Dunno where the attack has gone but the raiders are clearly the 4th best team in the comp behind roosters titans and broncos.
Tend to agree with @Flippedy in that we over achieved

Gotta agree with the comment on the ruck refereeing the walking off the mark was doing my head in... you think the refs are bad in the mens comp bloody hell.anything goes here

Sharp is a nrl ref , she appears to hate the wests tigers both men and women, I would not have her ref a under 6 team , she makes it all about her

Is sandercock the right coach , because he sat there in the box while his side done nothing but one out hit ups .
He needed to get his message to the captain to stop the one out crap

Worst game she’s had all year I reckon, but as I posted last night, I think the whole team was spent after a big season rising from the wooden spoon to a finals berth.

At least they competed in their first finals game and weren’t thrashed like Newcastle were tonight.

Sometimes injuries dictate game plans. There was also a massive difference in how the ruck got refereed for both teams. I think with a full strength side especially outside backs & hookers we will be better next year.
