Well done Mr. Taylor

The other team was too good…it happens you know

Some players don't help their team with habitual mistakes. Blair was called a lazy player by some forum members when he was playing with WT.

People are going off a tad early re: Bennett. I hate to admit it cos i despise them, but Souths are the benchmark. They would have made most teams look like mud tonight. Don't think the humidity helped the players either. Give the Broncs a few weeks against opposition that isn't as fine tuned as the Rabbits before you start calling Bennett a has been.

Souths dominated in every aspect of that game full stop.

Wayne the Supercoach  , he's a has been . NEXT!!!!

You tipped Brisbane :roll

I truly never thought they would be that bad , embarrassing to say the least .

I'm traditionally a slow starter or should i quit already ?

I reckon Sirro would have played a ton more lower grade games than Gavet too being a Sironen, a junior rep star and from a league mad high school. I'd say he's played way more football, not just NRL.

Broncos defended well in the first 20 mins or so. Rabbitohs were relentless with their attack and were very good in defence too. I know it's only round one, but they seem unstoppable. :frowning:

Look how can we comment before we have played a game ??

Yes things looked promising in the trials , but we are an a different space now , we are playing for competition points

Taking into consideration the number of talented young Wests Tigers forwards who are preparing to step up into first grade Taylor has hit the jackpot by removing Blair and Gavet. I would however implore Taylor to seriously consider purchasing a capable centre as soon as possible. At this stage I feel very uneasy about depending on Lawrence as one of our two main attacking (and defensive) centres.

They left on their own accord .Not Jason Taylors decision.

I am sure that Blair was still tied to a contract with WT. Taylor would have had to be involved in sanctioning Blair's exit from that contract.

I don't care who was responsible for there departure but on there game last night thank you and now we can give some of the younger guys a chance to show there stuff.

Gavet will always be a "developing player" or a "raw talent"
He just doesn't cut it.
Yeah, he's aggressive but that doesn't win you games in the modern era.

Blair & Gavet - no loss to us.

Gavet has a bit too much Daine Laurie about him for mine. Could be wrong, but just looks like one of those players with unbelievable potential but just never getting the 'head space' right. We'll see.

Their **team** was absolutley dominated, and hammered….and people expect match winning stats? Im not surprised . I knew this smug thread would appear

that's because blair got dominated in every run he made. he was a 'prop' but hardly made any runs.
his defense was good as usual though. slowed down the ruck heaps.

gavet was absolutely terrible

People loved Gavet this time last yr when he was coming off the bench in tandem with Taupau. Not sure where this ''i told you so'' attitude that people have with him came from.

I wasn't…. always thought he was a lazy defender with big Hair
