MacDougal why the hell should he take a pay cut?
He along with Benji built this club. He has played busted for years. He has won us many games. For a couple of years he carried this team on his own. He has represented the club at Origin and Test levels. He always makes himself available to play and accessible to the club and it's fans. He is a life member….long story short he deserves his salary.

He doesn't need to do anything more to become a "club legend"...he already is one.

100% Right. Well said Stryker!

x2, well said.

agree…some people have short memories.

Great thread. The bagging Farah cops from so many is ridiculous. He has carried this mediocre club on his back for years. I'll never forget what he has done for us.

For years he was called soft and "not tough enough" by clowns with no idea. Ignored for Origin ahead of rubbish like Ennis, Buhrer and a past it Buderus.

He's handled some things poorly especially last year but overall has been a great leader and a fantastic player for us. Prone to taking the wrong option at times, but he has won us so many games almost single-handedly.

Not to mention, he has almost always played behind a beaten forward pack thanks to our inept recruitment.

You can respect what Farah has done in the past and his excellent service to the club. No one is disputing he's a club legend.

However, it is also fair to criticise his current play and role on the team. I do not believe he is worth his contract and believe buying a crop of better first graders for that money is a better investment.

I don't think Robbie has been bad at all this year. I can think of one tackle that he has missed that was bad but overall he has been solid.

He does seem to have lost some pace but he is still a quality player.

I agree with the posters above though that state how good he has been for us. He has been a great player and he still has some more gas in the tank.

He's just not Origin tough, ask Laurie Daley, thats why they picked Ennis for years.

Sorry Chris, but you have to be kidding
Ennis didn't have a very long time in Origin, and in that time, cost us at least I game by giving one of his stupid penalties away that gave them the game with only a few minutes to go.
As for whether he is an origin player, just read Goulds story about him ( I think you must have missed it).
Even just going on this year , his effort in staying on and defending as he did with the sort of injury that he had, should have been enough to show even people like you, that your statement is rubbish

Exctly… Well said

Did you tell the club that when they signed him, or did you celebrate , like the rest of us????
