West Harbour Rugby

Interesting that it’s being played at No 2 oval, what’s happened to No 1 ?
A win would be nice TO, maybe be slow them down with box kicks down behind the line out and in general play. Bore the pants off them with continual stoppages and play it at your speed . Just an idea.
Good luck !

Watching this team is really frustrating: a mix of lost opportunities, not-up-to-standard plays, refs who seem one-eyed and then moments of flair and technique that beg the question - where's that been?
The club must see something that I'm obviously blind to - they've just extended the coach's contract for another year (despite the most disappointing results 2025 and 2026).
There again, for the dyed-on tragics, hope lives!

Just need a coach who can identify players capabilities and adapt a game plan around that. Anyway, good luck ,

******* Should I mention that West Harbour led Manly Marlins 31-28, then 2 minutes over-time ie the 83rd minute for the ref to help Manly score a try... !!) ***************

Getting closer !

Champioan @Halbrowne61,
Thanks as always for your wonderful support.
It was really tough, this one.
Came back from behind, never let the Marlins get away at any stage, then led at the time of the 80 mins being up, the ball has to just go dead for the Pirates win - and the ref then decides the game.
So awful for the club.
