Madden looks good but he's much smaller than I imagined. Once again errors are gifting them the ball making us work harder than we need to. The Cleary kicks are aiming for the post but it's incredibly fluky to hit them two from two.

I'm pleased that - at least at half time - Braith can't gloat in his prediction we'd be hopelessly smashed. I realistically don't expect to win, but if we compete as well as we did in the first half I'd be happy.

Back end of games is always a worry.
We might not win this one but I think we can take a lot out of our effort so far.
Still lots of errors but next 10-20 minutes will tell the tale.

Liddle has a massive issue in that he tires very quickly.!I’m sure he trains hard but he gasses badly in every game and then makes poor decisions and misses tackles. I can’t work this out but it is a reality

They are bound to cut loose and get away from us in the second half but you have to expect that with the difference in class. As long as we keep trying I’ll be happy.
