They scrambled more in defence but they still do so many basic things wrong

Line speed was bad. No kick pressure, attack was slow and predictable, poor kicking game, conceded some dumb tries and made lots of errors.

I'm being negative and they did scramble well but it's round 23 and we STILL do all the basic things wrong!

I get Penrith are a superior team, but we truly really suck.

Doesn't matter who you're playing, kick pressure, kick chase, line speed, depth in attack.... all basics that you can achieve against anyone.

Very hard to achieve when your opponents have a mountain of possession.

Hard to achieve line speed when the opposition has the ball?

Fatigue sets in.

Lots of effort there. Stef, Mikaele and Blore were all excellent.

Madden was better than I thought, he was quite good.

Have you seen any effort to pressure Cleary? To chase kicks?

I've seen efforts in patches to cover up poor defensive decisions.

There players literally stand as a wall infront of him but yeah I get what you mean

First NRL start. First game for 6 weeks. He’s no JT but I think you’re being harsh. And I’ve not rated him in the reggies.

They kept on plugging away and with the difference in class between the 2 clubs i cant complain too much.Mikaele i thought playes well as did Stefano and Blore.There is the nucleus of a good pack in those 3 especially with Seyfarth off the bench
