Penrith played such a ordinary game today and we still no hope at all. A part from D.Laurie i see no potential for our attack to improve. We got a guy no one wanted called hastings coming in and what else ???

If next season is like this, I'm putting in way less effort to watch every game live as I always have.

How boring are we. It is the same thing every set. One out and then on the 4th either turn it in or go for a spread that is shut down so easily.

They’ve had almost 7 minutes more possession 3/4 of the game in. 0-5 penalty count, it’s been a decent effort to hold one of the best teams in the comp to 6-24 up til now.

Sort of… Penrith not playing to well. Look at the errors they have made. We are a awful team, we rarely look threatening in attack.

We've been outclassed but I've been impressed with the effort today.

I get Penrith are a superior team, but we truly really suck.

Doesn't matter who you're playing, kick pressure, kick chase, line speed, depth in attack.... all basics that you can achieve against anyone.

But with the amount of crap we dish up against top teams

This is one of the better ones

Good effort I suppose but it just shows how far off we are. I’m not sure i want to watch this mob anymore, there’s just no hope of a win.

We would have been real competitive today they way we have fought if we also had 10-12 rep level players like them.

They were like us 5 years ago....got bee sting head in to sort the joint out, we just bumbled from one stuff up to the next with inept management decisions

Imagine if we had teddy, had a car, moses from 2016 to 2021. ?

We played well and Penrith were off today.

I thought Twal played alright as well.

Twal plays well every week.
It isn't noticed because hard work isn't sexy.

WHY DOES HE NEVER OFFLOAD THE BALL !!! he has his hand out and does a dumby and takes the tackle. He is solid as a rock in defence and a rock in attack.

I would like to see Twal come off the back fence every now and then..

He gets much praise for being the most consistently average player in the NRL

Luke Brooks was absolutely invisible today. Barely ran the footy, 10 missed tackles, our attack was completely unorganised and his kicking game once again average

And before you say it (because I know someone will) NO I am not blaming him solely for our loss, just think individually he was very average today

He was very poor today. Brooks seems to be a bit limited at the moment. Can only really bounce between a good game and a poor one. He needs to take the next level and I don't see that happening at our club tbh.

Has no one noticed brooks can’t actually throw a long ball ? He has a little no look pass to the guy next to him, a mid field bomb “ that is always the easy to catch style bomb. He is a strong defender. He doesn’t have enough tricks.

If there was a leg speed metric I reckon our squad would be at the bottom of da ladder.

This is why our line speed is soo BAAAAADDDD

If there is one thing I could wish for us for next season is line speed. It’s beautiful to watch and so damaging.

Going by Madge's reputation, our boys should be super fit, but we have no line speed, no kick chase and no backing up in attack.

We just don't look like we are fit, or do we just train too hard and have nothing left on game day?

Line speed is mental - that's the desire in wanting to bash the opposition and not let your foot off their throat - we're fit enough - it's the desire and willingness to do it all game that's the problem.

That first half defensive display hopefully shows this team no matter the strength of the competition good teams can stay in games and have a chance when possession swings. This Panthers team is as good as it gets in the modern game. We just don’t have the players to do it for 80.

Agree, and also believe if we keep this team together, they will develop what it takes to do it for 80.
