Between his role in the “big four” saga and other stories that seem to frequently pop up about him I would hope our club now has an internal policy in regard to limiting his influence in terms of his player representation at the club or even not dealing with him at all.

NRL Commission- hello!! Anything??

Agents seem to be a protected species, all coated in Teflon to boot.

Watching the game a second time I noticed that Ponga basically submitted in nearly every tackle. Almost Mitchell Moses like. Maybe reading too much into it but I’m half inclined to suggest he wasn’t having a dig??

Funny you should say that.
Apparently it's Isaac Moses pulling strings in the background that has caused all this.
The Knights recruitment manager that has back doored brownie and met with O'Brien is an old mate of Moses
O'Brien is also managed by Moses.
Also there were some strange recruitments this year which also happened to come from Moses stable.
Looks like Moses has stuffed another club.

Wow! This Isaac Moses seems bad news.

Should be banned!

Smith’s wife is his manager.
The ring is part of the package.

I seriously thought Vonny was a part time player manager... no?

G'day @Madge: please spell Anasta's first name correctly, it's 'Bwaith', not Braith :relaxed:

that is the clean version of his name that people use on forum.... other names outside of forum include.......

Y̶o̶u̶ ̶H̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶B̶e̶e̶n̶ ̶B̶a̶n̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶B̶y̶ ̶W̶i̶l̶l̶o̶w̶

Your Very thoughtful @WT2K: but add a valium to it to shut him up at least until the end of our game :relaxed:

quick question

People on our team who have yet to score a try who have played at least 1 nrl game

Oliver Clak, Twal, Mikaele, Talau

No one seems to have commented on the fact that Lino ran as an escort for Ponga which denied Marsters a clear chance to compete.

Agree, and I thought that Lino was partly responsible for Ponga not getting a clear shot at the ball. He was too close.

Yeah Lino contributed I thought. The commentators just kept banging on about Marsters not having eyes for the ball. Not sure he needed them given he wasn't trying to catch it, he was just trying to get his hand in there and make it go backwards. Ponga was showing him where the ball was going and when by his positioning and the timing of his jump...

I personally thought it was no try. I understand that technically you don't need to look at the footy to contest a catch and Marsters jumped in the "right slot", but it also potentially opens a can of worms where all you need to do is jump where the ball is approx landing, arm in the air, without ever looking at it.

I think you need to display a genuine attempt to be attacking the football and in that instance, unless Esan is part bat and was using his echo-location skills, I didn't see it as a legitimate contest.

HOWEVER, IMO Lino doesn't just contribute, he runs a clear escort - so I think the proper call was no try, penalty Tigers.

@jirskyr i agree i always try and look at it as if it happened to the tiges and i would have been pissed if that was awarded against us

Politis refused to deal with him, then Teddy was off contract, so that embargo is lifted and easts sign Teddy.
Now Politis is refusing to deal with him again, what a croc, soulless club and cheating Nick

Very Important Poll On Bwaith

What kind of person clicks on link labelled "Very Important Poll On Bwaith" and then selects "Don't Care". I just don't understand some people...

Its funny reading the start of this thread.
"I'm not confident with this one."
"Good work Madge."
Next thing we put 40+ points on them

Maguire certainly copped plenty of venom before the game by some fans and based on the result you would have to admit that he had a game
plan that proved to be spot on.
