Half the problem with Westconnex is they have had awful/no PR and marketing done. Despite being a local resident i had no idea what they were really trying to achieve. No communication in that regards. Getting trucks off the city streets as much as possible can only be a good thing. Yet they don't market it in that way for some reason.

When they widened the M5, all residents were kept up to date with a monthly newsletter. So, if the same company is building the Westconnex, then, no doubt, the same information will be forthcoming.

Fairly disgusting stuff.The heavy hand of compulsory acquisition so typical of the Baird government with all of its actions.No wonder they are on the nose.
