102 mins wanderers 5 , roar 4

I don't follow the A league , although I'm watching it ATM .
How good is the Wanderers supporter base .
Imagine if Wests Tigers had that sort of following and passion !!

Not hard to have that sort of tribal support in a two team city. It's not comparable.

I wasn't comparing , I was just saying !

Wanderer's have now lost 3 grand finals in the past 4 years, not a great record to have.

How is it in the A League the Wanderers can have a massive player clean-out (17 players) and make the Grand Final, but in league it takes 3-5 years to rebuild a team?

Larger talent pool

A guy I used to work with is a Wanderers and Cronulla fan. Has never won a grand final…

Pretty much,

Marquee allowances for one Australian and International player, ten teams in a truly national competition and a nationwide junior pool that surpasses every other sport.

Bridesmaids three times now.

Amazing effort by Adelaide. Winless after 8 games and then go on to drop only two or three games and storm home to win the league. Went to the next level after Gombau moved on.

I'll give Popovich credit, he can rebuild a club. I thought they might have been cactus after last season but he made them just as competitive as ever.

The regular seaons are good, but the end of seasons are very disappointing for him.

Was a fantastic match, especially for a grand final. So many are boring, defensive matches but this was a great game for the neutrals, and a great result for football. Hope the reds can kick off from this. More members, stadium upgrade etc

My household was in mourning. All 3 kids big supporters of WSW and WT. No real joy in either for them. All good we will keep supporting both with passion and proudly.

as a reds fan, my heart bleeds for u, NOT, it was great to see the reds win after been dead last for nearly 10 weeks at the start of the season. iam now hoping for a double when leicester city win the EPL these two wins will ease the pain of another lost year for my beloved tigers.
