Wests Center 3/4's

Guys

I'm not real familiar with out lower grades and current 20's team.

What are the current stocks of center 3/4's like? Is our next superstar in this position??

Chris Lawrence is a long way from the Kangaroo center he once was and Tim has more fair games than strong games. When I look at the potential top sides in the comp, they have strong centre's, we don't IMO…

Cheers

Unfortunately I haven't seen him play but chance peni has seemingly been going well in nsw cup.

Watson heleta has continued from last year and looks great in the 20s. Seve has been quiet but he is outside levido who is average whereas heleta gets service on a platter from Martin week in week out.

marion seve has been injured quite a bit.

still a good player, hopefully it doesnt get to him physically and mentally and he can transition into FG.

Will Hopoate would be a decent option. We need outside recourses next yr. The juniors can't do it all on their own.

Don't think you can be too critical until our 6&7 fire. I dont think it would really have mattered who were our 3/4qtrs today, we would still have lost

Well now is the time JT has to make the choice you want to be a winner or a loser ..If Nofo is back the choice is yours JT.

Everyone keeps calling for Lawrwnce's head but imo Richards has been far the poorest in our backline. If he cant kick he isnt in the team. Very slow, looks injured, gets smashed in hitups. Was out of position allowing souths break and just jogged back. Looked spent before halftime.

I know having a great kicker is worth the price but gee he has to be considered being replaced by Noffo when fit.

Personally, Simona & Nofoaluma are best 2 Wingers at the Club. If a decision is made on Richards early this year, that may dictate our options for Centre. Do we bring one up, or do we buy one?

Watson-Heleta is coming on really well, and the best aspect of his game I like as a young Centre is his defensive reads. He well could be a good one.

I'm prepared to give Seve a good 20 Weeks to find his mojo again… I'm really excited with this kid and he has on many occasions reminded me of Steve Renouf with his in-and -away. I still believe he will come good, but he looks to have put on a heap of weight too quickly. Very much a Wing or Centre chance.

Before we move anyone, I'd like to see our Halves play more direct and see if this can open up some space for both Lawrence & Simona.

I think Seve has the highest upside and could be a really good player.

Heleta could do a job, but dont see him as a career NRL player.

We may have to enter the market for a centre.

Simona was pretty average yesterday.

I agree, I thought he got well shown up by Walker, even with a fractured hand. I know Walker is a speed machine and Reynolds was kicking very accurately, but we were smoked on those goal-line grubbers, and otherwise Simona was stepped a few good times.

Richards may be out this week of suspended. Who comes up? Hope Noffa is fit but unlikely. Seve looks like he will be sitting a few weeks out too. Im guessing Hoeter or Lulia will come in for richards of suspended.

Cant wait to see Nofo. Deafening silence on when he will be back but.

I thought it was supposed to be this week (round 4). Has that been changed again? I was hoping this sort of thing would stop happening with the new S&C staff in place.
