I disagree. Most licensed merchandise i.e. at Best & Less for example, scarves, beanies, kids tracksuits, pyjama's are all exclusively Black and Orange.

while i know the Wests Tigers are the priority these dayz,i don't understand the mindset of everyone totaly ignoring the past

You are a fanatic. I love your sense of pride towards the maggies. You have great passion. Why don't you do something a bit more proactive. Make some banners, giant pom poms, wear a fancy costume and show your black, white and orange colours at games, turn your passion into something positive, visible and which can be enjoyed at all. You might even encourage others to bring some more Maggie history to the games. I think your efforts are better spent in another positive direction as opposed to constant forum posts on the interweb, where people may read it, sympathise with your argument, but as soon as they turn to another thread, instantly forget. think of Alien's banner COM'ON WESTS! Everyone knows it, everyone likes it and I think it's far more effective.

There's nothing wrong with acknowledging history GNR… It is exactly what the Wests Tigers are doing. And I know more than one former Balmain supporter who is down for the week from Queensland and has a Corporate ticket to the game... How much aknowledgement do you want?? Whining because there is no white on the website promo (Which will be gone in a week) is beyond a joke... Well beyond a joke!!

The adverts for this game are just a embarrassing stuff up, but would have it occurred the other way? I doubt it.

Bug does have a point.
If you started seeing predominately, or even just black & white mechandise, advertising and web pages…..I think a few shooting the messenger would be arcing up too.
To many of us, black & orange is Balmain...and that is what we see supposedly representing WTs
We have three colours...use them ALWAYS!

Bug while your posts annoy mainly because they are without fact or even a hint of it most of the time I though again on this occasion I would check out what you said and see if it is true.
So firstly I went to the tigers website http://www.weststigers.com.au/
This page and the dominant promotional tile for this weekends game are 80% White, 10% Black and 1 orange stripe - So you are wrong on count 1
Then I headed inside to see the promotion of this game and our merchandise
firstly I found the full page article (with a 90% white and black tile) on celebrating the Wests Magpies v Dragons 61 grandfinal and season where it tells of the Magpies dominance in the season and the Magpies team. So after seeing this I was sure the merchandise must be all purely orange so onwards I went to the Merchandise
Players wear - well they had normal and alternate jerseys 1 predominately white and predominately Orange with both having Black and bits of the other colour and then they had the womens round jerseys Which has Pink and White as the main colours with a little Black but NO Orange - One to the Maggies thier again
Mens Wear - The front page hear had almost all items predominately black with little bits of white and little bits of Orange excpet for a shit that had black and white stripes and a jumper that was grey (a mix of black and white) but lets call it even
So on I went category by category finding nothing predominately Orange , most things predominately Black and then a polo shirt predominately white , a singlet almost all white - Another one to the Maggies
The womens items I found either mainly black or pink - again a draw
As an old Balmain fan I was starting to see how we were being abandoned in this joint venture (Don't think I missed the extra Toyota Cup game in Campbelltown this year either)
So I went onto the childs wear thinking Balmain must be hoodwinking the youngsters and this is what bug is upset about despite dominating the other categories - but what did I find Black dominated again but then a White dominated Romper suit and the infants polo white dominated (and the rattle) I thought nooo what a tur4n up Bug had really been trying to highlight that Wests Magpies are dominating the joint venture a bit of old fake left go right move but then I found the offending articles Bug and I totally understand that despite having so many white dominated items compared to zero Orange dominated items - The infants scarf and infants beanie were while mainly black at least 40% Orange - An OUTRAGE , AN OUTRAGE I SAY and I totally agree with Bug these items should be struck off the catologue
Now Bug I understand that with all these extra white items and the extra toyota cup game and the Parra trial and being able to save the spots in your NSW cup team for true Magpies and not having to deal with the Wests Tigers rejects changing every week the Magpies would be entitled to feel aggrieved that as owners of 90% of the joint venture they should get more then this
But whats that you say its a 50/50 joint venture - Well in that case as an old Balmain fan - I say something must be done where is the even handedness I want 50/50 down the middle not this magpies dominated abomination of a club I agree Bug something must be done

I fully support keeping white in our jersey…...however, has anyone thought that maybe it has nothing to do with Wests or Balmain but more to do with our mascot being a TIGER, which is in fact black and orange with NO white.
