I'm pretty sure this is the game where a funny story came from

Wests called an attacking scrum move . The prop from the Gold Coast turned to the backline and described the move to a T . 100% accurate he was

The Wests front rower looks at the Gold Coast player and says "Mate ,how the hell do you know what the move is " and then the Wests hooker said "We don't know what the hell the move is "

Watching it now.. Funny how seagulls were based at tweed heads to avoid the rule of no other team in se qld.

Wasn't this a game riddled with mistakes !!! Sad to see Wally playing with a lot of dunderheads !!!

Wests had a good team in that year … It was one of the rare years we bought well.
They are great games to look back on those ones .... But I'd still rather what we have today than back then.
