Unless new signings are announced in pre-season…

1\. Mbye
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Marsters
4\. Momirovski
5\. Thompson
6\. Benji
7\. Brooks
8\. Packer
9\. Farah
10\. Matulino
11\. Matterson
12\. Lawrence
13\. Taylor

14\. Reynolds (super sub)
15\. Twal
16\. Musgrove
17\. Mikaele

Benji deserves first crack from last year. Reynolds to sub for either Farah or Benji, then later in the year Reynolds starting 5/8.
Both our 2nd rowers can play 80 minutes, right?

Sorry disagree. When both are fit, Reynolds gets picked ahead of Marshall every day of the week. And no room on the bench to rest a no6.

This is the team I think WILL be picked not SHOULD be picked. Madge wanted Benji on the New Zealand team so I think he still rates him.

Ok, that’s worth thinking about. I’d reckon Madge would want him as a mentor but who knows.

I really hope that’s not correct because Benji is past the weekly grind and a bench spot is wasted if Reynolds/Marshall occupy one spot

This would do for me

How do people see the transition occurring in 2019 between Farah and Liddle? I'm assuming the first few games to be Farah with Liddle still in ISP showing he can do the full 80 minutes. With our games schedule known is there a 'best time' to try out Liddle without impacting our hopeful run for the finals? I don't think our forwards are strong enough to carry Liddle permanently on the interchange but I'm assuming by season end we want Liddle to be the starting 9\. The transition between the 2 players during the season will be interesting to watch and central to any prospect we have of finals football.

i think 2019 will be the incubating stage for liddle in the isp until the end of the season when he will "hatch" and come into first grade, might even be before then if farah picks up a injury or two, and of course if we make finals as well…..

This would do for me

Eisenhuth for MCK and that would do me too…

I’m going a bit left field here.
Based on player impact and the style each player played last year.

1\. Mbye
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Marsters
4\. Momirovski
5\. Thompson
6\. Benji
7\. Brooks
8\. Musgrove
9\. Farah
10\. Matulino
11\. Matterson
12\. Lawrence
13\. Packer

14\. Reynolds (super sub)
15\. Taylor
16\. Twal
17\. MCK

Plan is to start big,

Packer can play a third forward which doesn’t impact our front row yardage.
A lot of games I watched last year packer was everywhere in defence so I believe for at least 25mins to start (swap then with Taylor) he has the mobility to roam as lock.

Having 2 behemoths in Musgrove and Matolino gives as a big starting pack.

Think packer playing a similar role to the fish at Penrith.

Probably need Eisenhuth or Mikaele in place of Reynolds to begin with. Or even in place of MCK.
Definitely think we have an opportunity to change it up a bit.

Anybody heard anything about Liddle signing past next year now that Damien Cook has resigned with Souths. If Jacob goes to the Bulldogs and Farah retires we have no hooker.

Jeebus how long is Liddle going to be in the incubator! It's now or never for the guy.

Enough with potential Liddle to sit in reserve grade until his form says he deserves the spot more than Farah.

Pretty obvious isnt it.

I agree. I think he has shown he is already the better hooker so Farah starts in reserves. The only question is do you ease Liddle in and play 3 forwards and a utility or 4 forwards on the bench.
