Musgrove continued to train with the team the majority of last season....so it's not as if he is a new recruit...

Not the same as playing I know but was effective on the training paddock hitting the ball up I've been told..ie tackle dummy No.1

I’d like to see this. The only problem is Musgrove/Packer are both coming back from time off and would you start with either of these two in that situation. I’d go for Musgrove over Packer as well.

I agree Packer is problematic given he has been in rehab for so much of the pre-season; however, I don't see why Musgrove couldn't be ready. He has had the whole pre-season and will presumably play the trial games. He should be cherry ripe for round 1.

Not necessarily...I just like the thought of Aloiai and Mikaele off the bench and Twal in No.13..I'd probably go with Eisenhuth and Musgrove to start..

However this is the Round 1 prediction thread...Not sure Packer will be ready round 1...fully motivated he adds to the side...

We have depth in the middle this year for sure...a Maguire trait..
