After watching the trial I'd go with this team.

1. Doueihi
2. Nofolauma
3. BJ Leilua
4. Mbye
5. Thompson

6. Benji
7. Brooks

8. Musgrove
9. Walters

11. Garner
12. L Leilua
13. Eisenhuth

14. Aloiai
15. Mikaele
16. Taylor
17. Chee-Kam

Going by that bench, you think Walters would play 80? I can’t see that myself.

eT can have a spell at 9..
Walters to 6 and Benji has a crack.
Options.

I like the bench.

My take
Doueihi
Nofoaluma
Johns
J Leilua
Momirovski
Marshall
Brooks
Twal
LIddle
Musgrove
Garner
L Leilua
Aloiai

Mikaele
Clark
Seyfarth
Mbay

I think Mbye will be 9 with Walters on the bench along with Musgrove Aloiai Chee-Kam

Mbye will get 80 minutes ...no need for a back up imo

Mbye has to be the 9 unless a miracle occurs on the Harry Grant front

Yep. Should be able to play the 80 too.

Very interested in the team named for Warriors trial as I’m gathering it will be close to Round 1 team
- Doueihi or Thompson as fullback?
- Nofa, Jennings, Thompson, Talau on the wing?
- Mbye, Doueihi, Talau, momirovski partnering Leilua?
- Aloiai, Eisenhuth as lock?
- starting front rowers?
- Mbye, Walters, Reynolds as hooker?
- bench make up?

Loving the start to this season

1. Thompson
2. Nofolauma
3. BJ Leilua
4. Momirovski
5. Mybe
6. Benji (c)
7. Brooks
8. Mikaele
9. Walters
10. Musgrove
11. Garner
12. L Leilua
13. Eisenhuth

Zero chance of Douheihi on the bench. None. Nada. And Mbye on the wing is a less than zero chance.

Against the Warriors I would like to see:

1 Doueihi
2 Nofoaluma
3 Mbye
4 Joey Leilua
5 Thompson
6 Marshall (C)
7 Brooks
8 Twal
9 Walters
10 Musgrove
11 Garner
12 Lucy Leilua
13 Taylor

14 Chee-Kam
15 Clark
16 Mikaele
17 Aloiai

+ another six

The other six will be interesting

Jennings
Seyfarth
Johns
Reynolds
Momirovski
Talau

But who knows

Whats the deal with Doueihi - was he injured last night?

Think I read somewhere Madge said it was nothing to worry about or similar.

Haven’t heard that anywhere I don’t think he was injured. Only one I heard is that Kane Bradley didn’t play because he was sick

Maybe I was dreaming, or it was a nightmare.

All good if he is ok. Thanks.

I would like to see Musgrove and Mikaele come on at the 25 minute mark when the opposition starts to tire
Two aggressive forwards on at the same time should give us another step up

I liked how Momirovski finished off his tries last year and a second option goal kicker
His height will also help diffuse the bomb or help with an attacking bomb
Mbye on the bench (Marshall is captian as well) can come on with 25-30 minutes to go or cover Hooker Halves Fullback or Centre if injury strikes

The only worthwhile points you could take from that trial game were that Walters looks like he might be the best option at 9, Musgrove needs to be in the 17, Talau needs more time before he can be an NRL centre week in week out.
Reynolds needs a lot more football. Eiso unfortunately looked better than ET and MCK.
Young Johns and Cini seem good prospects.
