Wests tigers all the way in 2010

After watching the first game of the season what do you think are the chances of wests tigers going all the way in 2010.

IMO the tigers can beat any team on there day but are just not consistent enough, so if there consistent enough this year to make it into the finals i believe anything can happen…

im not getting carried away we barely bet the manly

But i reckon they can beat eels and there the favorites for the grand final

I have a great feeling about this season. Sure there was a 20 minute period where we were ordinary, but when it counted they showed that heart that started to come through last year. If we learn to nullify the damage during off periods, we will be unstoppable.

I am just going to enjoy the win and not over analyse it too much. I saw a lot I liked, and a lot I didn't. I won't judge too harshly as it's only round one, and I won't be too quick to sing too much praise about anyone either.

You mentioned consistancy, and that is what I want to see, an aim to improve as the weeks go on and keep it at an improved level.

Once we are well and truely into the season and the above is happening with more wins than loses I will start thinking about if we are serious contenders or not. That said - it is the year of the Tiger

We still need a prop to back Gallaway up or for Galloway to play more minutes. He is a dominant player but when he goes off we struggle.

You just typed it all out for me.
Thanks BRET.

I can't help but feel that last night is one of those games that costs us the semi's in previous seasons.

One of those games that we "just" lose, that we all talk about at the end of the year.

They can obviously improve and will.

What excited me was some of the collisions!!

I'm with you tiger05,we need another prop to help Galloway.I said this in pre season talk. However as long as Gareth Ellis stays fit and produces his go forward it may not be such a problem.Fulton had a big game to,its a shame he isn't built a bit bigger the same size as his heart….Still I thing we are achance of getting into the finals.....

I'm with the theory that it's only round one. I think we get a clearer picture by about round 6\. I must say though that to win a game where for 50mins we played pretty poorly is an interesting after thought. Imagine what we could've done with an 80 minute effort. I didn't think manly we poor tonight. they let themselves down in the second half like we did in the first.

Im not getting carried away…we were lucky last night....still have great concernes regarding our forward depth.....I feel we are 1 quality prop short....not sure Cayless and Moors are the answer.time will tell

Of course ,we all like to think so…..but very early days and lots of things have to go the teams way, but last night was a start.

As long as the team never gives up trying, like last night....that will do me
