Wests Tigers and the beards.

It's pretty much common knowledge why the majority of the Tigers players are currently sporting beards with the exception of 3 players but after suffering a arm injury recently I have been unable to shave much to the disgust of my wife who told me how ordinary it looks.
I have decided that while the players retain their beards for a good cause so will I, how many other Tigers fans are currently hirsute and how long will they remain that way.
I'm determined to keep my beard until the end of the season despite being irritated somewhat by it.

i havent shaved for a couple of days but its not because of WT or charity. ive just been lazy

Oh Leroy, if only u started this thread a few hours ealier….i hadnt shaved for a good while, my wife found me disgusting, but after todays win i shaved hoping ill get some tonight, so ill have to start the growth all over again

Haha is that all it takes mate….a shave...oh i wish it was that easy.

It reminds me of (I think 2009) when the warriors players decided not to shave until their season was over. Seemed to work as they upset Melbourne first week of the finals.

Nothing wrong with a good, solid beard. I trim but haven't actually shaved for nearly three years now. And my missus doesn't mind!

Keep em going boys, just like the ice hockey players do heading into the playoffs

I get a good chuckle out of Ayshford's attempt to grow a beard I must say. Is there a cause behind it or not?

I believe it is for childrens cancer. Once a player decides to shave his beard he has to pay up $200.

benj looks older with a beard

I reckon he looks tougher. Defenders seemed to really be hanging off him more than usual today….must be scared of him

his arm strength has improved

its between themselves for their end of season trip i believe…. everyone that shaves has to put extra in but the last one to shave.

we've had a beard thread before.
and i stand by my comments in that thread.

however, i'm all for a good cause
proud of the lads for making an effort.

its all for the benji marshall children's cancer charity and it was you grow a beard and pay 200 if you don't want to grow it and then first to shave donates 200, then 190, 180 etc.

woodsy will be a clear early favourite

I have got a goatie, does that count???

Of course it does, That's the greatest kind of beard. I have had my Red Go-T since 93, My girl never seen me without it.

For whatever reason I had grown my beard for two weeks, It was very impressive if I say so myself, however I kept getting asked if I was growing it for a religious event?

Evidently the beard coupled with a #0 shaved head isn't a great look….

Oh yes! A red bearded brother! Despite not having red hair, I know, don't get it either

Yeah, I often shave my noggin too and it looks, well, interesting!
