Really hard to say how the boys will handle it.one thing that stands out is that fast halves are looking even faster.could work really well for us,hopefully some short balls from brooks to garner late in the half.
I won’t get to watch the game till about 7 🌝
But looking forward to everybody’s thoughts on the game later on 💪🏽

The game will slow down again. The Roosters defenders were holding the opposition up in the tackles to slow the game down. I am sure the coaches will come up with more tricks in time.

Maybe League will become more like NFL with players running very low and diving into the line to get a quick play the ball.

It's all about the referee in this case. Ashley Klein didn't make one 6 again call all game and allowed the Roosters to slow the play the ball down all game. It was literally no different to a game from last season. The benefits of the new rule will be null and void very quickly if the referee doesn't enforce them. Compared to the first two games it was seriously like watching a different competition.

Why shouldn't I be worried ....

I am to, we may jag the odd win here and there but we were terrible in bith games tjis year.

The drags imploded more than we won.

3 games isn't a season ....I realize this ...but everything that we've seen you need to be strong at .....I don't think we are .... they are on most occasions our weakness

If Madge proves me wrong he is the Messiah , and we need to offer him a minimum 5 year extension

I love this team and club as much as anyone else .....but I'm not going to call BS on them if I think we are in strife ...I'm not blaming the club , Madge or the players unless they don't put in ......but these rule changes are killers to our chances in 2020 and beyond

Oh @happy_tiger we haven’t even played a game under these rules yet. We were very poor in the first two rounds that’s for sure, but a lot has happened since then. I’m certainly not going to write them off just yet, especially not in years to come. They’ll adjust and do just fine. I think it will be the older ones like Benji and Lawrence that will struggle most under the new rule. The young ones will go just fine. If they hold onto the ball, which is even more critical now, they will give the comp a good shake.

Every fan and commentator has underestimated the role of a 9 week break.

All the analysis has been shortsighted, this is essentially trial form, teams will adapt. It is a lottery for now with Parra and Canberra looking like the teams to beat. Mid-table teams like us need to take advantage of the chaos. Tonight was a good example, we had better discipline in attack and that's all it took, but it won't be enough in October. I'm encouraged by the fact that our spine will improve by playing together and our pack has looked the goods in 2/3 games.

As I was talking the entire season (and as exciting as tonight was ) still a ways to go
