Hello Wests Tigers fans. I am attempting to make a Wests Tigers/Luai related banner for 2025 and am an absolute newby. Has anyone got any experience in making banners? What materials are best to use? Grateful for any help.

I went to a Sydney test with a white sheet and in colourbond cottage green sprayed on “McGrath is Good, Warne is Great, but Lee is the one to Obliterate!!!”
I suggest keeping it short.

It was the arvo before the test, we were well high, and probably a little drunk. Maybe not probably. And someone says we should make a banner!!! Fun times Ink.
The only time I’ve made a banner.

My mum had this huge roll of thick black material... Dad bought it at an auction where random crap was for sale... Dunno why they initially bought it but I inherited it.
I made a few for members here... The best was the "Doin it skando style" for Gr8-1.
It ended up over in Huddersfield with some of their fans after the mayor of minno went over to play there
 
Get a clean one made up on sites like Vista Print.

Upload image and text, etc
Will be costly tho

I like that story. Both that ya Mum and Dad went to auctions to buy random stuff and came home with a roll of black material, (that’s pretty random), and the travelling banner, I wonder where that ended up? Somebody’s pool room for sure, maybe Skandos?

Depends on size and budget.

You might be surprised at how low the cost can be when you get a custom flag made. That will be light, professionally printed and come with the 2 sticks to hold it up. Check Aliexpress for custom flag. Pretty sure you can customise size too.

Compare that to a bed sheet and the paint, spray cans, and whatever else you will buy separately to DIY for a crappier end result.

I think the custom flag option out of China is going to be cheapest price and best result.
