Mayor Darcy Byrne says he has been in talks about an upgrade.
It won’t get any cash from the government because it’s too close to SFS rebuild, and ANZ.
WT best chance is a new stadium at Campbelltown, hopefully seating more than 20,000 people.
Campbletown would be a disaster for the club full time
Pull curtains on the top leave of ANZ use that
Zouths are using ANZ next year we should have too
Hopefully we take the new SFS they will need tenn ants
I didn't say anything about using Campbelltown as a fulltime venue.
SFS WOULD BE THE LAST PLACE FOR WTS TO GO
Can't agree with that. The SFS is only 10 minutes away from Wests Ashfield and 20 minutes from the COE. A perfect location with 45K capacity.
Except it is in the Eastern Suburbs.
I know you don't like it @cochise but it really it ticks all the boxes.
Except being in the Eastern Suburbs lol
You mean the outskirts of the city that is easy to get to. 20 minute walk from Central or 7 minutes by bus. Its not at the beach.
Yes in the Eastern Suburbs, it only takes 20 mins to drive to Bondi Beach from the city. It's not like the Eastern Suburbs are huge but the SFS is in the Eastern Subrurbs
Who cares what LGA it is in. We'll never agree on this one.
Because we are a team called Wests that shouldn't be playing in the Eastern Suburbs.
West is relative. Easts are West of Auckland. Penrith are comprehensively more West than Tigers are.
So we are Wests Bondi Tigers?
No we are the Wests Tigers and the SFS is not at Bondi

On the WT's website, Justin Pascoe has initiated a new weekly broadcast of all things WT's, ppl will be given an opportunity to ask questions as well (not live).
Great idea to make the club as transparent as they can.

I never knew from the 2200 previous home ground posts over the years ..so that's good..

It's only as transparent as the questions they choose to answer.
Answering the back slapping questions does nothing.

The Western Suburbs of Sydney where both teams originated from

Huh? Since when? Western Suburbs originated in the inner west and Balmain originated in well, in Balmain. Neither could remotely called the Western Suburbs of Sydney, even in 1908.
