Did some good things and some bad. Definitely needs match fitness. Not the worst club debut. Should get better as season goes on.

A player that reads a game is a very rare commodity ,he did some very nice things today these are the little reads that can break a game open .After a couple of kilos are off the fitness level is up and Brooks has returned interesting times !

Lolohea was better than I thought he would be…We need Brooks back in the team...

i thought moses was still playing with us when he came up out of the line. hope he gets better , and i mean a whole lot better.

I thought it was a solid debut. He did some nice things together as well as make a few errors on both sides of the ball. I was at the game and I didn't think he looked that physically unfit although my eyesight is not what it used to be. 28 tackles is a fair effort for a guy who is supposed to lack match fitness.

Asked quite a few questions of the opposition, kept them guessing which is something we've been lacking, went ok imo

that miss tackle for the dragons 3rd try was nofo bad

I will have to have another look, but I thought he took his man and his inside player (maybe Masters) went in on the wrong player to leave the gap.

there's no excuse for what he did for frizzel's try.. brain snap

overall, not too bad for first game.

Yep I saw it that way also.

Had another look and my initial thoughts were correct. Masters called Frizzel as his man and then went in on the inside man that Liddle had covered, which he himself had pointed to Liddle as his. All fault lays with Masters for mine as Lolohea was following his very call and putting himself in position to nail Widdop.

Overall I was impressed. Okay he is not in great shape and his speed is a little down, but he had a go and showed glimpses of what lays ahead. His stats were not bad 28 tackles, with two miss tackles, of course one was a terrible read that read to a soft try, but its been a while since we have had a no6 make 28 tackles and only miss 2.

He will be better for the run, although next outing against the Chooks could get ugly for everyone
