JAMES Tedesco was not the only injury concern for Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens last night.
As messages of support flooded in for Tedesco, the teenage debutant who lasted just 30 minutes on Sunday before he tore his anterior cruciate ligament, Sheens was sweating on medical reports on other players.

"We've had a few things on today with injuries to other players, but I won't know the full story until tomorrow," said Sheens, who refused to identify the players of concern.

"I've been in touch with the medical staff about James and he's had hundreds of well-wishers through the club. I feel for him, he put in so much hard work."

Sheens was yet to settle on his No. 1 option against Manly on Friday, with Joel Reddy still not guaranteed to return from an ankle injury, while Mitch Brown has joined the Bulldogs.

Great thats all we need. Injuries so early in the season. Someone must hate us.

Ellis was troubled by his groin as they were coming off the field

It is too early in the season to risk injured players. Give them a rest to recover and blood some youth.

Simona played well when given a chance. Also give Moors a go to re establish his NRL career

Lets put Mitch Brown in !!!

Oh hang on !! He left us because he was not getting a fair go by the Fonz thats right.

Good one Fonz.

Off the top of My head I can think of

Lawrence - Shoulder
Moltzen - Finger
Farah - Nose
Reddy - Ankle

Just set up injury thread for year but add Humble to list went down with ankle injury but played on, I have feeling he won't play this week, so we will be looking for a new No1

Goddamn it… If anyone is carrying niggles I would hope Sheens forgoes the win this weekend in the interest of not exacerbating any injuries.

Poor old Sauce, I wonder whether he is made of tissue and spit sometimes.

Galloway's foot injury is basically severe ligament damage in his big toe. Someone must have stomped on it good to be that bad.

How long can the ligaments in your big toe be to keep you out 6 weeks? :unamused:

Has anyone heard if Moltzen is still playing tonight. The Tele has him out injured. Wondering who will be his replacement, hopefully Sheens doesn't move Farah to halfback!
