We all know about the much publicised $40m upgrade to Leichhardt, that article mentions improvements to Campbelltown Stadium as well. I haven't heard ANYTHING about that, I didn't even know that was on the cards until this article was posted.

Anyone got any idea what "improvements" are being made at Campbelltown?
I found nothing online.

I raised it in the thread earlier … apparently the COE that was announced last year … $16m.. not sure if it affects the stadium

Surely we still take our Easter Monday game to Accor like we have done every other year when we were supposed to play at Parra. Aside from gifting Parra a game in their own backyard, we potentially lock out 20k fans at least.

True Tom but think he’s caught between a rock and a hard place. I believe it’s come about due to the 11th hour fund allocation to LO. He’s obviously not sure, at this stage, what they can get for their money, and when it will be ready. Commbank is a just an interim corporate fund raising exercise and any updates at CSS are minor.
This will be a continuing saga as there is no one ground( at this time) we can hang out hat on. Frustrating, for sure, but finalised, not even close imo.

I assume the draw will be created and then we will choose who we play at CSS.. LO.. and PARRA... Or is it still the broadcasters does this?

I would be very surprised if Parra Stadium are going to pay big $$$ for the Tigers to take games there and not have a say in which games ….i would suggest they will be getting the games they want ..likely the other Sydney teams … and of course Parra game

I'd say it'd be a scrap game left for fox after nine get their choices for Thur fri & sun
The 3xspooners v a non finalist from last year isn't that appealing to nine id guess.... Though it being a loc derby of sorts is a plus

Same as Bankwest - purely commercial benefits.

Both get large corporate and financial benefits which CS/LO don’t even come close to providing.

Playing Parra at Bankwest for our home game will probably sell it out tickets and coporate as well. Huge cashcow for the club.

Do I agree with it - of course not as a fan it’s crap all games should be at our proper homes & not shared but financially wise to hit the targets he is chasing over next 3yrs & to nab a prime sponsor with significant more value than our last - Richo has little choice.
