Didn't most people want him before he went to the Sharks?

A few ifs for me.. If sharks are throwing some decent coin, he can stay on the park and out of trouble he could really put some spark in our back line.

But it could easily be Reynolds the 2nd..

These selection ideas will be very important in the context of Wests tigers' future. All I hope is that the Wests Tigers person/s who are to make the new player selections are very wise and not prone to adverse sudden reaction selection ideas ala Ivan Cleary.

Most players form ebbs and flows bar a few from the top level clubs... Also players can have bad runs with injuries and then go on for seasons problem free... At his best he's dynamic, we really aren't in a position to be too selective

Don't need to take a big risk and sign another Ballin, McQueen or Matulino either.

If we let Matterson go we need another really good forward - don't think Moylan would make a good lock, in fact I don't think he would make a good anything.

You can't say for certain he's gonna be anything, none of us can... All recruitments a bit of a gamble

Maybe if we were Storm or Rorters etc. we could take a risk.

I think Ink, after many years of getting it wrong for whatever reason, we now have little margin for error - we have to get it right, with a minimal amount of risk.

We keep paying Matterson's contract and they pay Moylan's.
Both have 2 years to play on their contracts.
Just swap. That's the only value I see.

There is a part if me that feels like this is a negotiating tactic. Possible aimed at the titans. Most reports and rumors have us dealing with the titans. Matto has met with para and the titans. Maybe we are saying up ur offer or we look else where. At least I hope that's whats happening
