Wests Tigers narrative vs Negative reporting

I understand that every supporter thinks that there is an us against them mentality regarding the media and the refs, but here is where the Tiger reporting starts to really concern me. Within my lifetime of watching RL I have seen negativity and how it fuels the selling of papers and clicks for those that connect on line. Manly was club that people loved to hate, that was the narrative, but the club its success, and administration were not really degraded on the same lines as the Tigers. The bulldogs off field behaviour was another darling for the reporters and the cross cultural nature of their supporters, but it was never the club, even the cap cheating never touched on the quality of coaching staff/recruitment.
But have a look at how the Tigers articles are put together, The postcode debate... Hooper loves this one especially, he plays with how his depth and knowledge have allowed him to examine this basket case he calls the tigers and unravel to all how, his articles will shed light on us. Please when did a clubs identity improve a players performance, Both the two most successful clubs barley have a local junior in the side. Who do the Roosters represent, weak crowds, no juniors, with a local community that is mostly vegan, no worries the players really identify with that. Say it about the Tigers it becomes gospel. B4 I write too much, what about the narrative that the WT systems off field/culture is poor. Where does the best RL IQ go (coaches, trainers, recruitment specialists) it goes no where, it stays right here, everyone just goes around the merry go round from club to club, have a look at our IQ it was carefully selected. But how many times times have you heard "what's going on at Wests Tigers" "what are they doing" that is the narrative, the story rather then news, that is why it is called a "news story"

We’re easy targets. And you can’t say it doesn’t work, look at how the supporters react.

in 05 the cistern[system]was on our side.when the50 50s go our way 80 20.narritives play plenty
Yes, for us to succeed we can't play like say Melbourne. It's not a level playing field, even if we played exactly the same way with the same roster they would tweak the rules change them etc. They need certain teams winning from others they need something they can market

See they know supporters like us are suckers who will turn up regardless but they may not do the same for Easts say.

So we need to play with a little pizzazz like 05 to 11 so ratings wise we are to much of a valuable commodity for them.

No justice in this world. 😉
