adrian ha'angana could be a good pickup, strong back rower, played (captained?) for souths nyc team in 2011\. was released at the same time as james roberts. if he trains well he will challenge for first grade this season or next.

seems like they are gone to change MR T into a winger but why, we have koribeta, lote, utai, simona, nofoaluma. we dont need wingers we need big punishening backrowers.
Seems like sheens all over again head in the sand stuff, no vison at all.

Mr T came to the club as a winger originally. He's just an exceptionally large unit who is big enough to handle himself in the forwards, but he also has pretty good pace.

He's obviously come into the squad quite late. Any further background info on him?

What do we make of Brooks going straight into State Cup? Is Harry grooming him for firsts should Miller not work out, or do we just have that much talent in the halves in the junior grades? I assumed he would be half for NYC but it seems I have been mistaken.

According to the Official Sydney Roosters Page, Newtown are playing Balmain this weekend… Very Poor misleading promotion for the new **unified** WT NSW Cup Team

Free entry?

No free entry because it is the curtain-raiser for WT vs Roosters NRL trial. Even if it was just a stand alone game I don't reckon it would be free….before we know it they will be charging people to go and watch training :rant
Nothing is free when it comes to the NRL getting their pound of flesh.

I think its for two reason, 1st insurance if Miller gets injured or dosnt make the grade and 2nd millers off contract at the end of 2013 and the gold coast have already put some feelers out their so I would imagine they want Brooks harden up for 2014.

Most people you talk to rate Brooks as potential generational player, time will tell

Paying out on the coach this early!! c'mon, he is a winger (faster than Lawrence over 40m) who has the potential to be another Taniela Tuiaki. I would have him on the wing in NRL right now, he will be a match winner IMO. Having him on one wing and Koirobeti on the other would be sensational.

As Potter said , that Jacob has the halfback position for him to lose .
He will not play the mistake that got Sheens fired and use many different halves pairings.

He will keep Marshall at 5/8 , Robbie at hooker & all other positions are to be on noticed . The depth this year ( except for props as always) is fantastic
I wouldn't be surprised to see Brooks to keep pushing Miller to play at his best to keep the 7 jersey as Tedesco will push Moltzen to play his best football of his career .
Brooks general kicking game has already been identified as the best in the club

One thing I noticed with Brooks is the ease at which he finds open space with his kicking game.

Am pleased to see Jy HItchcox has been retained. He was one of BRET's best before his injury. A quick and aggressive outside back, always comes in handy.
