Anasta's job was to ensure Brooks had a seamless transition to NRL and help him out if he ever got flustered or overcome by the pressures of first grade. Brooks has taken to the NRL like a fish to water, he doesn't look out of place at all. Consider that job done. Time to move aside and let guys like Austin actually add something to the team.
If Anasta was doing his job as player it would be okay, but his kicking game sucks, his hands let him down way too much and he has almost zero creativity.
That is not what you need from a #6! I think Austin is as good a defender, far better creatively and because of this can take the pressure off Brooks just as effectively.
Until Moses is ready Austin should be allowed to form combinations and familiarity with the team for the rest of the year and anything can happen.
Anasta is only a handbrake now, not a steadying influence!

Any news in regards to whether Sirro will come in and who he might come in for
Just have this feeling with Sirro back , Anasta might be gone
It gives us a second option at 6 if things aren't working with Austin
And Austin , if you get the chance let the ball go and feed Simona and Nofoaluma

Watching all the Tigers videos and media today there is a lot of comments about Sirro's return to the team.
He needs match time so he is a certainty to make the team imo. the only question is who drops.
Anasta on the other hand did not mention sirro's return on Sterlo this evening. 😛ray:

I have been waiting all season for Sirro to get back on the field. I have been a tigers fan since '84 and loved Sirro (snr) and blocker up front. And I think junior has a lot more to offer then his dad. With his dad size and he feet and hands, he will offer so much.
The question is who does he come in for. I really could see him playing 6, 11 or 12.
At the moment that would mean anasta, bodeane or fultz.
And I would find it hard to choose. Anasta I don't like, bodeane has been good and solid, and fultz is heart and soul there for the team.

Austin needs to be in the 17 as a utility
Fulton has been a great clubman but the power game that the tigers have shown this year doesn't suit his style,quality mobile player but is getting on and has no mongrel to his game

I would like to see Sirro on the field, Gavet on the bench, Koro on a wing.
Sirro is coming back from long term injury.
Gavet is taking an extra week,
Moses too small and too young
and Koro's Defense needs a little work.

"Again Lawrence needs a rest, simona to swap sides, nofo move in one to centre and Koro on the right wing."
But we do have a good side working well when all is on the field. out of every one Anasta is offering the least.
If he is so good with the team. his experience all that, make him a coach and he can still bring that and not hurt the team so much.
