Yep, USA needs to get RL sorted out. Remove the two competing comps USARL and AMNRL and either merge or form a new one. Also, selecting homegrown talent is essential. Apparently Curtis Cunz was injured, but dunno why people like Apple Pope weren't in there ahead of park footballers from NZ.

From what I can tell the USARL seems pretty well run. The AMNRL has some decent teams but is terribly organised. The people in charge seem more interested in union. If they ran a joint comp with the best 6 teams and let the others play in regional comps the games would be competitive and there'd be less forfeits. As it is you pretty much go from a new start team to playing some decent teams. Those guys at Jacksonville seem to have a fantastic model for others to follow.

Don't hold your breath ,its been the same issue for a while and they seem to be getting nowhere

Why can't the RLIF send someone in, or a few people in, and force them to fix it up and have a unified comp?

They have little power and even less clout

They have the right to change who they recognise as the official organisation running RL in the USA. These aren't normal circumstances - Nui has pretty much sold the league to a private company. Recognise the USARL and let them run the international side of things and it will be a massive step forward. The fact Nui/AMNRL also control the Tomahawks is their biggest asset.

And the IRL did step in during the ARL/Super League days pretty effectively. They sided with Rupert and the ARL were stuck playing western Fiji and cobbled-together fake teams.
